Liz has done a great job of creating a warm, safe, and structured place for children to learn, play, and grow. My daughter started there at 16 months, and on her very first day felt so comfortable and welcomed, that as soon as she saw the inside of FSLH and felt its warmth, she walked right in and didn't even look back to say goodbye! Not to say there weren't some tough days, as it can be challenging for young kids to understand that parents have to work, but Liz and her staff are all so loving and nurturing, and keep the children so engaged with fun learning activities and play time, that the children, much like mine, quickly adapt. Fast forward through the infant/ toddler programs to her recent "graduation" from the FSLH preschool program at age 4, and my daughter knows her letters, numbers , and knows how to write her name-- she is so ready for TK! I should mention that Liz and her staff also provide instruction in Spanish, so my daughter was able to learn and practice two languages while there. Also provided are two delicious and healthy meals (breakfast and lunch) and an afternoon snack, which my daughter and her FSLH friends enjoyed, but was also such a huge help and relief for me, as a busy single working Mom, not to have to worry about preparing those meals. As a first time Mom, I also felt very fortunate to have the support of someone like Liz with years of experience as a Mom, educator, and a daycare provider...and so I feel I learned a lot from FSLH, as did my daughter. Most importantly, and the best part of First Steps Learning Home, is that the staff always made my daughter feel so loved and special, from the moment she walked through the door every morning at drop off, until it was time to say goodbye at pick-up. Thank you, Ms. Liz, Ms. Alejandra, Ms. Paola and all of the wonderful FSLH staff throughout the years that made my daughter's daycare/preschool experience such a success and one that we will always cherish.

I'm pleased to share that in the half year we've been sending her to the daycare, not one child or family has fallen ill. This is a testament to how well Karen maintains the daycare and keeps it extremely clean, as well as the other families who are members of the daycare. In the time my daughter has been at Dreamtree, Miss Karen and Miss Reyna have helped her to adjust to one nap a day (she's about 1.5 years old), and supported her in taking her first steps. She is extremely sociable and well-behaved - when we read books at home, she sits quietly and patiently while listening, just as she has learned to do during the regularly scheduled lesson time led by Miss Reyna. My daughter gets so excited to see Miss Karen and her new friends each and every day when we drop her off. Another added benefit: frequent photos of the kids playing together!

Though it was difficult initially, she adjusted well with other kids and now enjoys playing with her friends and learning her numbers and rhymes. The environment is clean, organized, and feels like a home. We appreciate that Ms. Karen and Ms. Kamea, follow the children's natural rhythms rather than enforcing strict routines. They also provide regular photo updates during the day. We joined this daycare through a friend's recommendation and have enjoyed seeing our daughter thrive. The atmosphere feels more like a home than a rigid facility, which we prefer. The happy faces of the children during pickup confirm that it is a positive environment for her. Based on our positive experience, we would recommend this daycare.

At his previous daycare, my son wouldn't nap at all but has napped peacefully almost every day at Neeta ji's daycare. My son would eat much more consistently at daycare than at home. My son was speech delayed initially but now exceeds his age, all thanks to the support Neeta ji has provided. Neetaji and her helper teachers have helped with our son's special needs in a way I don't even trust my parents to do (search for Epidermolysis Bullosa, it's intense). They never made us or our son feel different in any way. We moved away from Sunnyvale to San Jose 10months ago and have commuted everyday for 2h only so that we could drop our son at her place. We were originally planning to enroll our 4-year-old in preschool this year, but after seeing how much love, care, and true growth our child was experiencing at Little Panda, we made the conscious decision to hold them back from preschool just so they could stay. That's how confident we are in the incredible care and education Katia provides. What makes this daycare so extraordinary is that Katia isn't just a caregiver -- she's a true partner to us as parents. She communicates openly and thoughtfully, shares insights about our children's development, and supports us through milestones, challenges, and transitions. We feel like we're part of a team, working together to give our kids the best possible start in life. That kind of trust and collaboration is rare -- and it means everything to us. Our 4-year-old has grown in ways we never imagined -- becoming more independent, confident, and curious -- while our 2-year-old is thriving emotionally and socially, learning through play and gentle guidance. Activities range from arts, sciences, math, play based learning and singing. We've seen first-hand the impact that a loving, intentional environment can have, and we are so grateful. If you're looking for a daycare where your kids will be deeply loved, thoughtfully educated, and where you as a parent will be supported every step of the way, Little Panda Family Daycare is that rare and wonderful place. Julie is loving, kind and patient. Her staff reflects this as well. My daughter (2) had a negative experience at a previous daycare so was hesitant to go, but after only a day or two (of "transition visits" where I stay), my daughter is asking in the morning "go to Julie house peese?" She has zero tech, fun and engaging toys that rotate throughout the day, so the kids aren't overwhelmed with choices and generally speaking, get excited to play and it feeds peer to peer engagement as well. Julie has a loose "schedule" (more of a routine, she lets the kids decide when they're ready to move on to the next activity) that I also really enjoyed, as did my daughter. Overall, I know my daughter is safe and loved at Habitot and would highly recommend calling Julie for a tour if you have daycare needs.

This was my first experience enrolling in a daycare. Julie is a very sweet, energizer bunny caregiver to kids and this post is not to slander her business. From the beginning that I reached out to her on fb messenger, she was so kind and accommodating and I felt like she was a godsend. In the meantime, we also applied for a school that told us we were waitlisted with no date to be expected. It started to go downhill in my overall experience after our first transition visit. My son loved it a lot which is all I cared about. The day we set was Friday once a week, and the following week the morning of Friday I messaged her to confirm that we were going to head over for the second visit- she replied that she was so sorry but she had a stomach bug so we couldn't go. Understandable as these things happen, and the following week was also cancelled as everyone still had the stomach bug. Then we found out that my son got off the waitlist for school and immediately I communicated to her this information and she said ok good luck! Here is when the miscommunication started to begin. The paperwork said the nonrefundable deposit counts towards the last 2 weeks of school. In my brain, I understood it as ok I can send him two times still. All this mama wants and was looking for was a safe place to drop her kid off to get a break and at this point we are a few weeks in already with no outcome. After going back and forth with me confirming costs which I am sure was annoying to deal with for her, we settled on her accepting my 30 day notice which I wanted to respect and I could still get the outcome I wanted- just some rest! Finally, a whole month after we started messaging the day arrived and I was able to drop him off. I had printed and filled out all the required paperwork and I forgot to bring it with me which I didn't realize until we got there and my son was getting settled. Feeling already really annoyed with myself, I asked if it was possible for Julie to print out the paperwork which I could fill out prior to leaving as I didn't want her to get into any trouble. I so appreciated her doing that to save me a trip home and lugging my toddler back. While filling out the paperwork, she suddenly brought up that he could not stay in the daycare until she hand wrote out his immunization record into the paper which she didn't know if she could do today because it's hard to do with kids around. I am 100% ready to admit that at that point hearing this new info of my son not being able to stay because she couldn't fill out a portion the parent did not need to do caused me to get frustrated. I can empathize for the extra work I caused, and I so appreciated her helping me print out. What could have made this avoidable, was her telling me when I checked in prior to dropping off that she needed 10-15 min to fill out a portion the provider needs to do before that can happen. My expectation of me able to drop my son off after ensuring he was settled for ~15 min and go on my way back to my baby at home that my husband was trying to juggle while in a meeting and then her telling me actually she didn't know was possible with kids around truly is off putting and caught me off guard. Do I wish I hadn't lost my patience and not sounded as frustrated as I did while trying to clarify with her if my son could stay or not because I wasn't getting a clear answer? Absolutely. When I came to pick up, I got no update on how he did and when we left she told us at the gate that she was going to refund us and me being confrontational made her uncomfortable so we could not come back and good luck with everything. I already felt terrible for creating more work and cried after our interaction, and to go back to pick up my son and be told we were not welcome back left me stunned. I later reached out to apologize that I made her uncomfortable as that is not the person I am. She thanked me and then apologized on her end, gave an update how my son did and why she essentially booted us out of the daycare was because of this confrontation with children around. Instead of just shutting ppl out that really felt so dismissive and so upsetting to me after a month long ordeal of me proactively communicating with her while respecting the way she runs her business, I hope that Julie can better navigate through uncomfortable situations as the business owner, communicate more proactively and clearly, and realize if she's overextending herself. *this is to share my experience with you as I did not want to further miscommunicate. It's okay that this wasn't a fit. Please see date you sent me the paperwork and review our messages once again. If a parent clarifying details felt confrontational to you via messenger, then a call may be a better idea next time for someone new.

There truly is no place like this where children are loved, nurtured, and celebrated as if they were part of the family's own. Finding Angie was one of the greatest blessings for our family. My first daughter started in her childcare home when she was just 5 months old and has been with Angie for the past four years. When it came time to find care for my second child, we knew without hesitation that Angie was the only person we wanted to care for our baby. From the very beginning, Angie has provided a warm, safe, and loving environment that truly feels like a second home. She goes far beyond simply providing childcare--she creates a place where children are loved, encouraged, and given every opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. One of the things we appreciate is the bilingual environment she provides. My first daughter is now fluent in Spanish, which is an incredible gift she gained naturally through everyday conversations, play, and learning. Watching her become bilingual at such a young age has been amazing, and it's something our family will always be grateful for. Angie also prepares healthy, fresh, home-cooked meals every day, and you can tell how much thought and love goes into everything she does. She celebrates birthdays, milestones, holidays, and every accomplishment with the children as if they were her own. The love and pride she has for each child are evident in everything she does. As a parent, there is no greater peace of mind than knowing your children are safe, happy, and excited to go every day. Over the years, Angie truly has become part of our family. The only reason we're leaving is because our family is moving out of state. Saying goodbye to Angie is truly one of the hardest parts of our move. We will always be grateful for everything Angie has done for our family. If you're fortunate enough to have the opportunity to enroll your child with Angie, don't hesitate. Your child will be loved, nurtured, encouraged to learn, and treated like family every single day. We feel incredibly lucky that both of our children had the opportunity to grow up in her care, and we will cherish those memories forever.
