I ended up getting the one flower girl dress for my 14 months old daughter and it fits her so well. Lastly, I can't believe how affordable it was too as compared to bridal stores that charges average few hundred dollars. I will definitely be revisiting for future special occasion dresses.

The pajamas are great quality (60% cotton apparently) thick and luxurious with the classic styling we all are familiar with including the piping around the edges and the breast pocket. The lady who helped us (who I can only assume was the owner) was the sweetest and kindest sales person I've ever met. She made great suggestions, was so friendly and really was so patient with my super cranky daughter that would not stop crying. She tried to cheer her up and even gave her a lollipop. She put together a whole outfit which was all reasonably priced. You honestly can't pay for that kind of customer service these days so it was refreshing to see. Well if you are looking for: - baptismal outfits - christening gowns (including the traditional long ones), and outfits for boys - formal wear for young girls or boys (for flower girl or confirmation or other such events) Well..... LOOK NO FURTHER!! This place is great! So much selection, and the staff and owner couldn't have been more helpful! My niece lives out of Toronto, so they let me take pictures and send to her, and then we discussed it on the phone and we made the choice over which one we wanted. This is a small family run business but they have been on the Danforth for a long time. That speaks for itself.... and frankly based on the service I had today, they'll be there for much longer! So if this is the type of clothing that you are looking for - head on over -- you won't be disappointed!! Outfits were available in every price range - so no matter what your needs and budget, you'll find something here! Some lovely wooden toys, organic wool and cotton clothes, gorgeous bath toys made of recycled milk crate plastic, and neat instruments too! I bought a sweet and inexpensive melodica and an awesome boat for the bath, and had a fun chat with the woman working there. She was zero pressure which I really appreciated and we had a nice exchange. I checked out a bunch of kids shops on this street while wandering around this week and for me this was the best. It's not overpriced, not over fancy, not over crowded, just great quality objects for kids and parents who care about fun and the environment.

The owner told me yes and then gave me this whole story on how it was priced over $100 before Christmas and he has been bringing down the price to this super good price of $59.99. Further promoting the story that the pieces are glass and the game has a higher value. I bought it and when I got home I discovered the pieces are not glass. One of them even had some excess plastic on it from the mould that I had to break off and sand. I looked up this company and the suggested retail is $49.00. I understand small business usually charge more, and I would have been more than happy to support a local merchant by paying a little more. However, I cannot excuse the lie, especially one with a full story to make me believe it. There are many small businesses in Toronto to support. This is not one of them.

It completely dampened my experience. After having spent some time at a couple of stores in the neighbourhood, I saw this store and had to go in. I love plushies, so it was natural for me to enter this store. I walked in. There were two staff members: an older Caucasian male and an older Chinese female. They both stared at me like hawks as I looked at the cute plushies. I settled for a strawberry plushie that sat perfectly in the palm of my hand. It brought me great joy. The man approached me and asked if I needed any help. I said that I was good -- that I had found what I wanted. I thanked him for offering to help and I continued to browse. He left me alone. One hawk down. One more to go. The woman did not leave me alone. She continued to circle me as if I were prey. Practically every aisle that I was in, she was there. At one point, we looked directly at each other in an aisle. We had this exchange: Her: Did you need any help? Me: Nope, I have what I want. Did you want to pass by? Her: (she moves past me) Me: Thanks. She was blocking my path browsing. If you are going to make me and every customer uncomfortable browsing in your store, I have no problem dishing it back at you politely. Walk away. I will not make you make me feel like a criminal for being a customer who likes to browse and is about to buy a plushie from your store. She stopped circling me after this exchange. I shouldn't have to politely tell you to stop being a jerk. You should know better as an adult. There are a couple of signs that say to not take photos. I didn't care. I took some. I didn't get a talking to about that, which I think was wise for them to not do that to a paying customer or one that was about to make a purchase. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and the transaction went through successfully. I placed my plushie in my paper bag. I thanked the man and left the store. I love my plushie. It's adorable and perfect. Sadly, it doesn't match my distain for staff that made my experience a rather unpleasant one. I'd rather go to a store and feel welcomed than setting foot here again. (475)
