I'm local not a summer visitor. My family has been to earls grille pickwick about six or seven times this summer and have been coming since it opened. It's my kids favorite. Tonight, was the worst experience I've had anywhere. We arrive and were seated at 5:05. The waitress took our drink order about 5:15. We got our drinks and app at 5:30. The waitress returned to the table at 5:50 and took our food order. At 6:40, we had not spoken to any staff since our order was taken so I went to ask manager for our ticket to pay for our apps so we could leave, my 3 year old, 5 year old, and the rest of us were over it. He was already talking with a customer who had been there for two hours. I told the manager we wanted our ticket so we could go, and we had been there for over a hour and a half. At 6:50 the manger comes back out with a ticket just to show me the time stamp the order was entered at 5:51 to tell me I was incorrect on the amount of time we had been there, then walked off as I tried to explain. He didn't bring us our ticket as requested, instead started bringing out parts of our food order at 7, I assume to make us pay for it all. My food wasn't correct (the waitress couldn't hear anything over her ear piece and people yelling at the bar)(ambiance), my in laws didn't get their fries until we asked, and my wife didn't get her shrimp meal at all until we asked again. We never received any refills the entire time we were there from 5:05 until we left at 7:30. I understand it was busy, crap happens, but the manager having an attitude coming out just to shove the ticket and order time in my face to "prove me wrong" and say this is when you got here is wild. Cut out the 45 minutes before we ordered our meals, It still took an hour and fifteen minutes from 5:51 until we got all our food. read more

Cool atmosphere and excellent hamburgers. Friendly service. July 4th at new location at Aqua Yacht: Happy to see Earl's grille here! The staff are very friendly and attentive. Love the complimentary pork rinds w/ cocktail sauce. I had the BEST Reuben sandwich! Very hot, fresh, lean and tender corned beef that wasn't salty ( most Reuben's are) with melted Swiss cheese and the grilled marble rye was delicious. We started with the fried pickles...they were perfectly fried. Lots of staff working hard with friendly smiles and attitude. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends. We were seated at 5:30, ordered within 10 minutes and it was almost an hour and a half before we received our food. It was 7:30 before we were able to leave. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and saying maybe they were understaffed. There were 6 adults and 2 toddlers. It took them 30 minutes to bring the coloring pages and crayons (they said when we sat down they would bring, we did not request but kids were excited to color). The food was ok...I had a salad that was good. The Po boy was soso, no one was overly impressed with the pasta salad. The catfish went uneaten. The waitress was very sweet. We've been to Earl's quite a few times. When the service is quick, its good, but about half the time it takes way too long to get your food. We've paid for our drinks and left after being ignored and sitting with empty drinks for close to an hour waiting for food to come out. We've also left after waiting for 45 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge us. The atmosphere is cool, neat decorations to look at while you wait. read more

Over the top Burgers, Interesting options. This place is a local Gem, my only negative is we do not live closer to dine here often... Pork rinds for the table, some places offer you some sort of rolls, this alone is neato. Burgers each time I have been were great, Wife loves there Pimento Cheeses, and we are always treated and serviced very well. I rarely give 5 stars out, this is a solid 4.5, and in my opinion it's just enough that it tilts it towards the high side of rounding. Would I visit again, obviously I would, if I was in the area. I have been to Earls in Crump a few times... even to the one in Pickwick once.... The service is always up to snuff, I mean they take really good care of you and the place is super clean.... The place looks like something out of Vegas and you really need to check out the restrooms... they are like a mechanics dream! But let me tell you about the ribeye steak that I had there last night.... It is absolutely out of this world!! I mean coming from a life in Las Vegas and knowing great food.... Earls steak is one of the absolute best steaks I have ever eaten in my life.... I mean it.... The steaks here are a 10 out of 10 in every aspect.... Been wanting to come to Earl's for a long time, followed them on FB for a while. Atmosphere is great. Cold PBR draft in a steel mug was fantastic. The single hamburger tasted good, but needed a smaller bun. I think that 1 bun size fits double burgers or triple burgers better. I asked the waitress - fries or onion rings - she recommended fries. They were disappointing, & not that large a quantity for $4. Should have got the onion rings. Will go back, but get different items next time. read more

Every once in a great while I'm truly shocked to find a great place. Earl's is an old converted garage that the owner has created a true go to destination. To start off the service was as good and friendly as I've found anywhere. Then they bring out their light and airy homemade pork rinds with a very good hot sauce. The special was the Donny Melt with fries for just $12. To put it mildly, I'd drive 50 miles just for lunch to get this double meat pattymelt with Earls sauce and onions. The fries were a very nice seasoned fry. Both were excellent. The decor in the restaurant is creative and keeps your attention the entire time you're there. If you're at Pickwick, Clifton, or even Parsons check this place out. It's fantastic!!! read more

Folks Earls is an old car garage turned bar and grill and I gotta tell you it's really good! They are really expanding the service is great and the attention to its customers is never taken lightly. Visited Earl's Grille for lunch this past weekend while staying at nearby Pickwick lake and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. There is nothing like it in the region that I've ever come across; it's original, not kitschy, staffed by people who seem to care, has a variety of hearty comfort food and the food I ate was A+++. I was torn on what to order until my buddy who took me said they pride themselves on their cheeseburgers. In my opinion there's no better way to separate the wheat from the chaff from an eatery than to try its cheeseburger and, I can honestly say, Earl's Grille's "small block v-8" burger (two patties with American cheese) is perhaps the best cheeseburger I've ever been served. The burgers have the crunchy, caramelized edges a la Freddy's (chain) but better. Onion rings were very, very good. The complimentary fried pork skins are served upon being seated just like chips and salsa would be served at a Mexican restaurant. I will make a road trip just to go to Earl's Grille again. read more
