We both live out of state, so finding vendors presented some unique challenges. I originally stumbled across Stephen's work while searching for wedding photographers who were already familiar with our unique venue. I immediately fell in love with his striking images and was thrilled that he was available to capture our event. Not only were we incredibly happy with the images we received, we were truly impressed by Stephen's character and professionalism. He was a joy to work with and I would gladly recommend him to any one of my friends. I feel incredibly fortunate that from several hundred miles away, I managed to pick the absolute right photographer!

After hours of searching the Internet for a talented photographer whose engagement and wedding photography didn't seem cheesy or staged, I finally found Stephen Sanderson Photography. Stephen was so easy to work with and loved our choice of location for the session. He took pictures of us in the foothills of Colorado, and they are incredible. Having Stephen Sanderson photograph us was one of the best wedding-related decisions we made. My only regret is that I didn't fly him to California to photograph our wedding. We have a fabulous collection of engagement pictures, and we've received countless compliments not just from our families, but also from friends and even minor acquaintances. I would recommend Stephen Sanderson Photography to any Colorado bride!

We stumbled across Cameron on Yelp, and it was the luckiest find we made in all of our wedding planning. We booked our engagement photos with him to get a feel for his style. The shoot was fun and easy and those photos came out terrific, so we knew we were in good hands for the wedding. He met me at the venue a few weeks before the wedding so we could scope out the best spots and make a loose plan. Then, on the day, he and his second photographer were amazing. And maybe the most important part...our photos are incredible. We are complimented daily on the quality and my husband and I really love the way they all came out! Cameron was fantastic and fun to work with; his attitude is warm and open and he does a great job of being present but not in the way. I would work with Cameron again in a second, you should too!

He works with his wife as a tag-team duo and their work is amazing. Yes, it was the most expensive part of our wedding - it was worth it; here's why: 1. Craft- Josh/Hanna have a great talent for composition. They can put together any style of photography that you like whether it's more artsy (ex. closeup of your dress) or candid (ex. catching someone's laughter, moment of deep emotion). He also offers great ideas on how to make your wedding album unique by providing different ideas on types of shots (ex. we had an eclectic Tim Burton/ Native American wedding in a clocktower and he asked if he could take a few shots of us looking out at fireworks at the tippy top of the bell tower which involved climbing and their NINJA catlike skills to get the shots-AWESOME!) 2. Professionalism- Josh/Hanna are organized and an def experts on what it takes to promote a smooth, happy wedding. They helped to organize the wedding plan by offering helpful tips for your planning and asking great questions (ex. They met with us before for cocktails and got the low down and list of formal shots wanted ahead of time to save time/stress on the big day). 3. Personal attention- from e-mailing them late at night with questions to him helping me with the summer heat by running to grab water at the last minute. They are great listeners, a super cute and sweet couple, have practical/innovative suggestions and at the heart of it, is very considerate of their clients. We will definitely call them soon for more photography!

It saddens me because their day is gone and many of shots we asked for never happened. We provided a list to Greg, but he said he doesn't work off of lists, so we trusted his expertise. He missed getting so many pictures that they wanted but the biggest one was my daughter alone showing her entire dress with her beautiful train. The ceremony pictures were taken from far away and do not show the special moments like exchanging rings and their special unity ceremony. It was a windy day and all the pictures of the wedding party were taken outside and at an awkward angle. Greg should have taken the opportunity to bring them inside and make sure he had what he needed. Because of this there is not one group photo of the bridesmaids in their dresses with everyone's eyes open. Our family pictures were taken in front of a railing while the staff was walking back-and-forth removing the chairs. He did not take advantage of how beautiful the inside of the venue was. The pictures lacked variety and because of this if we disliked one picture, we ended up disliking most of them. It would have been great to receive a few sneak peaks right after the wedding but we had to wait the full six weeks to receive anything. We also received 1200 photos which for the most part looked as if they hadn't been weeded through or enhanced. We received our video from our videographer which was absolutely magical but unfortunately our pictures did not capture any of the magic from the day.
