Also, the staff are friendly and efficient. Through the pub garden there are a set of stairs that lead up to the theatre. It is a small theatre with seating for around 40. As one might expect it has quite a diy aesthetic, with the small size making performances intimate. A pleasant pub and theatre, a fun place to see local theatre, though a little out of the way.

Chiswick is an upmarket suburb of central London, so don't come here for cheap beer or food. The Tabard is a very nice place with an excellent range of real ales, hand-pumped or bottled, from Britain and from abroad. But a pint of regular British ale can cost as much as UKP 4.00, which is expensive for a venue outside of the immediate tourist area. Foreign ales can be up there at UKP 5.50. Or higher. The upside is the pub itself, which offers very cozy and amiable seating inside and out. There are several secluded booths so you can have a chat with your friends without disturbing everyone else. Generally speaking, there's much more room than the building seems to suggest. Staff are knowledgeable and efficient. Gets busy on weekends, especially the outside area, which is cordoned off from the street. Thankfully, the otherwise VERY busy Bath Road gets quieter towards the evening. As suggested above, this pub offers frequent stand-up performances and music.

I think the place must have been an underground storage room or something - similar to the ones underneath covent garden, so there are several semi-separate sections, with sofas and tables, where you can sit and chat while you're not dancing. This is quite nice, and gives the place an intimate feel. The music is pretty good, and the dance floor is a nice size - not too big, but big enough. Also, I lost my keys there the other day, and gave them a call, and they found them and looked after them for me, which is pretty good service for a club! Thanks! The closest tubes are Moorgate and Barbican. The club is reasonably obvious by the side of the road.

I was a bit disgusted with the amount of choice from the bar but that could be because it was a private function in one of their smaller areas. Don't expect to phone your friends or receive any calls whilst you're down there, no damn signal! The DJ was ok and the food was great. Despite all of that, we did have a good time and when it came down to going home, they had someone outside arranging taxi's for people that needed them or you can walk in your drunken state to the nearest tube station!

Ideally located next to Westbourne Park station this pub is a great first stop for people heading towards Portobello or Notting Hill. At the weekends there are live DJs so get there early! It gets busy even on the weekday evenings, with people grabbing a post work drink, or some really good pub food. The sausage and mash is great, and perfect for a cold winters day. I like the large ceilings and the relaxed atmosphere of this traditional looking place. It looks out onto the street corner too, so its nice to look out at the people and cars. I like doing wherever I am, so its not a comment on the environment as such. There are some great draft beers available too!

No matter how sunny it is outside, inside the Grosvenor/Graveyard is always gloomy and quiet. There will never be a queue for the bar though as it is likely the only people in the pub will the die-hard regulars who, one can only presume, frequently return because of some sympathetic solidarity and loyalty to a pub that fun and good times forgot long ago. The inside decoration is "traditional" and the beer has dust in it (alright, I'm being harsh, there's no dust in it). But none the less, it's not really a pub you would look forward to spending time in. As there are plenty of other options for a drink on Garratt Lane, I'd suggest looking elsewhere, Love & Peace
