The audiologist gave me a big push to buy hearing aids from them. Like a used car lot. Second time for serious vertigo. I have seen him twice now and walked away without any answers to my issues or a feeling that he gave 2 cents about anything I was going through. Besides telling me the issues were something I had to deal with, I was only allowed to address 1 issue per visit! That is ridiculous!! I was actually told "We addressed your dizziness today but that is it." After which, he promptly walked out of the room and my visit was done! It is horrible enough going through the paperwork, payments, time off work, driving, etc. to get a doctors appoint but to then have the person you are relying on to help you be so rude and dismissive is completely unprofessional and uncalled for!! I am not sure how the other physicians are in the practice, but I don't think I will be taking any more chances or wasting my time with this office. Signed - Frustrated!!

I haven't deducted a star because this isn't the doctor's fault.

While Canada has a great system in place for routine issues, it definitely takes longer for anything involving a specialist. After month #6, I saw Dr. Maloney. I wanted the issue dealt with in a way that was less invasive, with a procedure that is less common in Canada. Dr. Maloney had never done the procedure before but she was willing to read up on it, and I had it done a couple weeks ago. It's too early to know if it will work completely, but either way, I'm grateful to her for being willing to try it.

Including having to walk into the office to schedule a visit because the schedulers do not answer the phone or return your calls. I then brought paperwork in for paid family medical leave so I could be present for my six-year-olds surgery and healing. The receptionist informed me that I would have to pay a fee to get the doctor signature on this form. Talk about nickel and dime....I then called the office to ask for clarification on why I needed to pay this fee. The response I got was that I did not need to pay the fee for this form. They do charge a fee for other forms due to the doctor's "time" spent on filling them out. When I went back into the office I was met again with the receptionist saying I needed to pay a fee. No one seems to be on the same page about said fee. I am a single mother and I think it is ridiculous that I have to pay for a simple signature so I can ensure that I will be off work and present for my child's surgery.

This clinic is incredibly dysfunctional and I feel obligated to write a review. I began by seeing…read moreSarah, who I felt fine with at first. After seeing her quite a few times, her bedside manner was consistently lacking. When I wasn't following her guidelines to a T, she referred me to her husband which seems like quite the norm according to other reviews. Her husband was nice enough, but tried to use scare tactics on me about a health issue that he and I were attempting to work on, but wasn't responding to any sort of medication. And he had the audacity to use those scare tactics on me. Let me just reiterate that. I was already feeling discouraged about my health problem and I was going to this provider for help. I was complying, trying multiple medications that I could not afford, doing the lifestyle changes they recommended, and they felt as though I was not taking it seriously and made me feel awful about myself. Every time I saw Sarah after that, she was extremely hostile with me and would not give me the time of day. As a practice they are completely untrustworthy. I have a friend who have brought in their infant and were given the wrong vaccine. I have friends that have also attempted to seek care from this office and also felt like they were not given the time of day or talked down to. Not only does she talk down to patients, Sarah also talks down to the support staff. And like several other reviews, getting a referral sent was a nightmare. And calling to the office is a nightmare. To get to the point, I don't trust these providers and I will never return to Fairhaven Integrative Health and I strongly do not recommend this clinic to anyone.
