This time it was a Puerto Rican silver rum called Castillo. Really smooth, even straight out of the bottle! Bacardi has the name in the states, but Castillo and Don Q are the rums you'll see people drinking in Puerto Rico! Stay away though from Palo Viejo, which means "old stick"! You're better off sucking on an old stick soaked in turpentine than drinking this stuff! Prices are reasonable as well. Maybe the tax on liquor is lower than in NJ! Next time when you're in Pennsylvania, check out a liquor store!

Honestly, I was more disappointed when it came to checking out. Instead of getting a "hello" or anything remotely decent, the FIRST thing the lady rang me up said, "I'm going to need to see I.D. and your friends too." Talk about RUDE! Yes, I barely look 21, as do most young adults, but a simple "hey, I'm going to need to see yours and your friend's I.D." would've been perfectly fine with us. I wasn't resisting showing my I.D. or anything, but basic customer service goes a long way regardless of what age your customers look like, and we were the only ones in the store. Do better.

This place has great homemade ciders on tap, creative cocktails, well thought-out atmosphere - and the icing on top was having great conversation and company with Randy the bartender & Steve the owner. We closed the place out and had a blast. I wish we had a place like this closer to home in NJ. If you like viking decor, axe-throwing, mead, hard cider, and good company - do not sleep on this place !!

We each ordered a flight, and they also gave us a few thimbles of some additional meads so we got s ton of variety. I truthfully don't remember all of the ones I tried, but my favorite was the mango-pineapple mead. It was absolutely delicious! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and they had a ton of decorations that were fun and Halloween-esque.

To say we were shocked at the inventory would be an understatement. The selection for wines, spirits and beer were phenomenal and the staff were super helpful. We ended up buying the wine we needed for a gift, six bottles for ourselves and two bottles of bourbon. Interestingly, on the way out we noticed their special, high end cabinet and they had a 72 year old bottle of Maccallan scotch in a crystal display for $139,000...pretty cool.

The prices were average and I was happy to see they had their beer broken down into some singles, with four pack, six pack and case pricing. That's always convenient. I noticed they had local hard pretzels, beef jerky and water. I grabbed a couple cases of the local water and pretzels to go along with several six packs of beer. I noticed some fellow yelper's mention the customer service was bad, the staff was nice to me and when I asked questions about the local products they happily explained. I'd repeat again if I was in the area.

They spent $150 between the 3 of them. The woman sales associate was extremely rude! It started when they walked up to the small case with the Mississippi Mud Pies in it. They were informed that there was another flavor behind them and while trying to make their selection were told, "You can shut that door." Next, in front of the entire family, she instructed a man working (with a cowboy hat) there to make sure he carded them all! She was very rude and very curt during the entire sales transaction. My daughter was told, "Leave that card in reader and don't touch it! " My husband and other daughter were told the exact same thing, in the same nasty tone. Lastly, there was never even a thank you or come again! I'm sure you're aware of the number of beer distributors in the area and your's is actually out of the way for us. I can assure you we won't be back to yours.

The staff here is awesome, they really go above and beyond to make the patrons feel comfortable. They are always friendly, professional and they mix proper drinks! In the package area there is a good selection of beer, wine and liquor, but if you don't see what your looking for the owner will order anything you ask for that he can get. Which is very accommodating. That being said this is a no nonsense place, the owner puts up with NO B.S. which I think is a good thing! They also have lotto and quick draw too, which adds another level of fun! They do not serve any food here, but there are plenty of options in the area for pizza or sandwiches. They do have a wide selection of chips, nuts and beef jerky if you need a quick snack. I totally recommend this place, it's clean, friendly and serves great drinks with no drama! Before ordering their dry hard cider, the person at the counter advised me to try a taste first because most people did not like it. Yes, it was dry and tangy but after ordering a full glass, it became so overwhelming that I had to dump half of it out. If anything, it tasted as if their dry cider had been removed from the fermentation process way too soon. My friend ordered a flight, which included a sweet chocolate cider that she loved, though too sweet for me. The peach was also sweet as well as the tangerine, and the beer she had ordered tasted as if a skunk had released itself in the mix. The food trucks, however, were great. And if you want to use the restroom, only portable toilets are available. Unimpressive on all levels save the lay of the land.
