I'm from Tacoma and was on my way home when I suddenly hit a pothole and popped one of my tires. Unfortunately, none of the local tire shops had the correct size for my vehicle. The only option was hauling out to Port Angeles from Forks, which was an hour and a half drive. Without hesitation, my tow driver offered to drive out there and help me get a tire replacement. It would be a total of 3 hours after his shift was over, and he had nothing but a smile on his face, which really made the stressful process very easy. Super kind people, and I will gladly recommend anyone use them. It's the best choice you could make out in Forks. read more

Same old sad story - first day of vacation, a rental car, far from home, a distance from the nearest town, tire pressure warning light goes on and stays on. We found Eagle Auto Repair and Tow and David was incredibly helpful, kind and professional. He located the screw that had gotten embedded in the tire, and although its location on the tire made plugging or patching impossible :(( he had the spare put on and directed us to a good full-service tire store at our next stop. I just wish Eagle Auto Repair was less than 3,000 miles from my home - they would become my go-to Auto service shop in a second. It's a level of service that is hard to find. read more

As someone who has been in and around shops my entire life, I can confidently recommend this shop to any and everyone. I found myself in quite a bind 2,500 miles from home. I didn't have a welder to fix the hardware on my truck so I stopped by Eagle Auto Repair and Towing. The boss allowed me to fix what I needed to fix and sent me on my way with a smile. While fixing what I needed to fix inside the shop I was able to first handedly view the professionalism of this shop. Organization, safety, and know-how was more apparent than most shops I've visited. I also got to witness some regular customers coming in while I was there. The employees seemed so happy to see their regulars and ready to help. Truly a hidden gem in the world of mechanic shops. We were visiting from out of town from San Diego heading to go on a hike when our rental car tire popped. We called the rental service to get road side assistance but unfortunately the insurance didn't cover any local tow companies in town. Right as we were looking up YouTube videos on how to change a tire, the kind men of Eagle repair showed up and saved the day! Though our insurance would not cover, they went out of their way to find us stranded in the snow to help get us back on the road! It's so nice to meet genuine people who simple want to help! We broke down on the side of 101 outside Forks. Frank and his tow truck took a little while to come, but that's to be expected in such a remote location! My old Toyota Corolla was unable to be repaired, but I really appreciate that they didn't try to say that it was for some beefed-up price. That's super hard to find in a mechanic, especially as someone who knows not so much about cars. Additionally, Anna in the office was super nice, was very cool about having our dog in the office, and even gave us a ride up the road so we could wait for our friend to come and get us with a much needed drink! Frank towed us on a Sunday from the Hoh rainforest into Forks and he was wonderful! No busses were running so he called a couple people and got us a ride back to Port Angeles, where we could rent a car. They quickly fixed our problem the next day, and we had a great vacation. read more

This place is AWESOME! We were driving our RV through Washington and we had a problem with our battery. We brought the car here after I noticed a tire indicator light. They identified a tire had a puncture from a rock shard from our camping off a logging road. They plugged the tire and I asked how far we could go with the plug, a few miles? The guy told me we could drive to Seattle and more, it was good to go. $16 later, we were on our way. We stayed at Kalaloch that night, no more backroads for us, and after leaving Eagle we drove directly to our campsite there. The next morning we woke up to a flat. It's Friday and I call Eagle back. The woman who answered/told the mechanic how to plug the tire told me that they were closed, only open for very expensive towing. They would not/could not help me. I explained that we had been in the day before and they had "fixed" our tire, she wouldn't budge, didn't care, didn't apologize, didn't offer any solution to me or a simple "I'm sorry." I called my club towing service and they told me that Eagle told them it would cost them $275 for a tow into town from Kalaloch. No shops were open so we would have no options all weekend. We skipped the tow--wouldn't support that kind of business, put our own spare on and drove 40 mph to Sequim and got some real service from folks who know tires. They told me Eagle put the wrong kind of patch on the tire and it would never have held to Seattle. I hope I never have to deal with a car repair there again. Bad service. read more

This place (thus far) only has five-star reviews, and that's for a reason. Excellent service, and they really know how to turn an unfortunate day into a much brighter one. The first time we sought the assistance of Eagle Towing was when my Sprinter got a flat tire on the road to Hoh Rain Forest one evening. We managed to drive back to the 101, called AAA, and our savior Shane arrived well before the estimated time. He was friendly, quickly got us on our feet, and refused to accept a tip - even though he seriously earned one. We had to enlist the help of this towing company again the next morning when the van battery wouldn't start while we were camping along the forest road into Olympic National Park. We ended up with a ranger pulled over to help jump us before Eagle Towing arrived, and once the fellow did get there, he knew the ranger and they worked together to get us goin'. Really neat to see the towing company have such a great relationship with the park service - that says something about their good character! read more

I had family come and visit from halfway across the country and, of course, we had a serious wrench thrown into our plans when we drove 4 hours to the beach and our vehicle broke down. Luckily, we contacted eagle towing who came and towed the vehicle and made our necessary repairs. This was a miserable and stressful situation all around, but the staff at Eagle towing was great about communicating with us and extending us kindness and understanding about our situation. There are not enough good things I could say about Shaun and this Eagle Repair and towing.My truck was so far into the Hoh Rainforest, I was serioulsy concerned I would never see my truck again. My truck had gotten stuck and Shaun patiently drove me far into the forest, never once looking irritated or upset about the distance we had to go. Nor did he complain when he had pull my truck to the side to get it off the creek precipice. He was a wonderful person, who made a stupid mistake on my part actually fun. That is not easy to do. I will never forge his kindess and patience and hard work. The other people at the business were so kind as well. And oddly, they charge so much less than their competion. We were on a cross country road trip and traveling thru Forks when the van started making very loud and strange noises. We brought the van to Eagle Auto around 11am, and even though they were busy, they were able to see the van that day! I feel very fortunate that Eagle Repair was sent out to help me while I was stranded many states away from my home, as a single female adventurer it is always a little nerve wracking getting stuck in an unfamiliar place with little cell phone reception, but I felt safe and at ease the entire time that Frank was helping me! I was at Ruby Beach over the weekend and came back to my car to find a flat tire, but I had a donut in the trunk, so no biggie, right!? Well, I popped my donut spare out of my trunk only to find that it was flat too....and, now it was raining as well. I called AAA and they told me that I would have a hard time finding anyone to fix my tire or to buy a new tire from since it was a Sunday, but that it would be about 45 min before a tow truck would come to help me. Eagle towing showed up in less than 45 minutes! It was amazing. These guys are amazing!! We lost a wheel off of our truck while pulling our 5th wheel into Forks this weekend. They didn't get our truck towed into the shop until almost 6:00 on Friday night but were checking on parts before it even arrived! We were only in town for the weekend, so they came in on a Saturday to fix it and it was done by 10:30 Saturday morning! Not only that but it was way less money than we thought it would be! The best towing experience I ever had ( it was through AAA). Josh came out and changed the flat tire to the spare tire @ Quinault Lake. He offered me to fix the valve stem at his shop (on Sunday which it was not open for business). When we got to his shop and changed the valve stem, he did not even charge us for the valve stem. So after calling AAA twice now over the course of the year, Eagle Repair assisted me both times. Sad to say, both times I locked my keys inside my car. The first time, was early in the morning and I had to be to a meeting 2 hours away. Eagle Repair was at my house within minutes. I was shocked. We were on our way to La Push a few weeks ago, when about 25 miles outside of Forks, we had a mechanical failure. Even though we ended up having to wait for a tow truck that our insurance company would pay for, we ended up being able to get our car to Eagle for repairs. They stayed open late and we were able to leave our car overnight to be successfully repaired the next day. They were super friendly and helpful. We were traveling through Forks on our way back to CO and our VW Westy started overheating. We called Eagle and they said to come on in and would do their best to troubleshoot with us and see if they could fix our issue. They started in with us as soon as we pulled up and they were very knowledgeable (even though they said Vanagons were not their specialty) and figured out it was our thermostat on the cooling system. Genuinely the nicest people I have ever met in this industry. My car died about 20 mi outside of Forks on a Sunday, and I received quick tow service after calling AAA. As the buses back to Seattle weren't running and the shop was closed until Monday morning, the shop owners helped us find a safe and quiet place to camp the night. They put the car on the lift as soon as they opened Monday and were quick to diagnose the problem. read more

Frank from Eagle Towing was my hero on July 17. I pulled into Sol Duc Campgrounds around 4pm and noticed I had a flat tire. I contacted AAA to see if I could get help and sure enough, within an hour, Frank from Eagle Towing showed up. Frank was professional and kind. He educated me about the spare tire which was a 50/50 tire .. it could go approximately 50 miles at 50 miles per hour and I would certainly be able to get to Port Angeles the next day to have it replaced. He reassured me and made me feel like I was his only customer. Exceptional customer service. The best towing/repair service I ever experienced. read more
