Connie is kind, gas attendants are quick and friendly, and people who stay at the marina are next level kind and wonderful to be around. It is a great environment and I love the slip... it's been a blast decorating and we've only just begun!

Leg after fall. Scrape/bruise on half of calf. Thigh bruise covers most of thigh.

The rental dock is a POS. No safe way to exit boat onto dock due to gate being tied shut and a rope that has to be hopped over to leave. Resulted in a fall when leaving with all belongings in hand while jumping over a rope that was blocking our exit route. Left leg completely bruised from shin to thigh with staff not caring at all about the experience nor helping us with anything. Will not return nor recommend to anyone, especially if safety is a concern.

Updated 8/6/12: I've…read morehad friends at Lakeview for many years and just recently started slipping my boat at this marina. It is one of the older marinas on the lake but the family who owns it is very nice. You can walk-in, call, or email and get a response back in a reasonable amount of time. The marina is on the West shore of the lake just north of what is known as Party Cove which makes it a popular place for party boaters to put their boats. Slips fees are reasonable when compared to some of the other offerings on the lake as some are higher and some are a little lower. In terms of amenities Lakeview has all the basics covered. The slips have water and metered electric. Trailer storage is available for slip customers for an extra fee. Each dock has a locking door with a key code that changes periodically for security. There is plenty of parking next to each boat house which makes it a short trip when loading up your boat for an outing on the lake. The main office also has a small ship store that has all the basics (fenders, lines, oil, etc) available at a very reasonable price. The fuel dock is full service and offers several grades of fuel. They also have a DIY pump-out station and an assortment of cold drinks available. Note/tip: Take cash or a credit card if your boat takes a lot of fuel. My debit card won't work on this dock when I make large fuel purchases.

Things were stolen from our slip, someone even lived at our slip and I brought photos to the office. The best was I spend over 7k on our boat to be repaired by someone the office suggested. They are supposed to have insurance, well after all that money 5.2 k we paid upfront the boat did not work. While we got a second opinion the guy was let back on our boat and stole some of the part. As well he admitted to it. In addition the office NEVER bothered to check his insurance. He was only insured to do upholstery. So we could not even file with his insurance company nor did Twin Coves take any ownership even though

Carl, the security guard, is also a gem of a person. Both Angie and Carl seemed like close friends within the first month we began slipping our sailboat at Twin Coves. These words also go for the maintenance staff - they have helped me with questions about my boat, worked on my slip and even loaned me a tool a time or two. The other boaters I have met are also just the kind of people you want at your marina. We all talk boats, share tips and some of become good friends. If you're looking for a fun, friendly and family oriented place to slip your boat, I highly recommend Twin Coves. Give Angie a call and she'll make it happen!
