The installation failed inspection twice because they insisted on installing other devices instead of the required expansion tank. Flow Pro later returned to correct the issue, and the installation passed final inspection on the third attempt. The job was ultimately completed, but I had to repeatedly follow up with Flow Pro to get the permit and inspection issues resolved. What should have taken 7 to 10 days took 9 weeks.

After analyzing solutions with them, which included knocking out walls in both bathrooms, the owner handed us off to APEX. Joe and Mike came over to the house and examined what we had & took pictures. After running cameras through everything, they developed a hybrid solution that involved undermining accessible pipes and replacing with minimal intrusion as well as refurbishing and epoxy coating the remaining small segments of cast iron that would remain. Joe sat down at our dining room table and mapped it all out; showing us video of each problem point as well as what was salvageable & gave us a price. We signed off on it. With much apprehension on our part knowing our home was about to be dissected, Elliot and John arrived to start work. They were prompt, respectful, & empathetic to our dilemna. They were also insistent about putting protective paper down everywhere they worked to protect the flooring. At the end of the day, they swept, vacuumed, and mopped any debris that was remaining. This was the standard throughout the entire engagement. Their workmanship and attention to detail was spot on. All of Joe's guys were phenomenal. I get that. NEVER TOLD ME. 2) Broke my gas pipe underground when digging. Mistakes happen. I get that. NEVER TOLD ME. I had to call them to find out why my gas was turned off 2 days later. 3) They propped my gate open to work. Left it that way when they left. My dog ran away. There are 2 signs saying to close the gate. 4) Scheduling nightmare. 5) They moved my hot tub to get to the area of work. They placed the cord on top of the cover. It rained. Broke. Mistakes happen. I replaced it. Then, when they finally came to fix another mistake they made... they left the cord on the cover exposed in a rain storm, AGAIN. I replaced it AGAIN. 6)They filled the hole on my patio with cement. It looked like a child did it. It was a quarter inch to half an inch higher than the rest of the patio. I called and complained. Sent them photos. They assured me they would fix it. It took them almost 2 weeks and 10 phone calls. 7) There's was a fan outside. They used it when filling cement in the hole they dug. Thats fine. Cement was left all over the new fan. 8) With the city program, they were to restore my property of how it was. They removed pavers and just left in a pile. STILL NOT RE-INSTALLED. 9) My home is old and didn't have a clean out. They tell me they need to install one. Great. They tell me, "It will look bad if we put it on the patio. After inspection, we will move it off the patio. Are you okay with that? We take pride in our work." I said "Whatever you think is best. Thanks." Where's is the clean out? In the middle of the patio. They never should have offered to put the clean out else where, if they weren't going to follow through. AND to offer doing something after a city inspection was sketchy. They are 100% not abiding by the city in most likely the majority of jobs performed.

I read reviews constantly if I'm shopping for a product or using a service; in this day and age you pretty much have to. I've gone there three times for just a few cheap parts so take what I'm about to say for what it is, which is stellar customer service. I'm not a contractor so I'm not spending a lot of money, so their motivation to please is genuine. I was working on a leaky kitchen faucet a few blocks down from the store and it was just kickin my @##. I invested close to 6 hours trying to get that dang leak to stop. I'm a handyman so I'm pretty good at fixing things but with this, I met my match. The owner, Larry, was so willing to help me solve the problem while I was in the store. We tried replacing the cartridge ($20) and the seals (he gave me for free). Went back and went to work to no avail. If I coulda thrown the thing out the window I woulda. I called at about 4:50 to try to speak to Larry but he wasn't available so I asked the gentleman on the phone if he had any techs that might be able to help me troubleshoot the problem and he referred me to Terry, the service manager (Not a technician). I spoke to Terry and told him my dilemma and he asked me where the property was and I told him and he said he'll right there. This 60+ year old man hopped in his truck and buzzed down to help. He got there, worked on it for about 30 minutes and couldn't get the leak to stop so he went back to the store to grab another part. He came back and worked on it for another 10 minutes. No luck. He then called Larry (the owner) and explained the situation and Larry came by too and together, after about 30 more minutes of working on that #$%#%$, they got it fixed. Thinking surely I was gonna get raked for needing two people to fix it, I asked what the damage was and Larry said "Don't worry about it". Huhhhh. I didn't think I heard him correctly. They refused to take any money. Terry lives more than an hour away and Larry came by to help after business hours and didn't even charge me for nearly an hours worth of work. If you find any company that would do that, you better not lose their number. I will continue to use them and I will refer people to them because they went above and beyond when there was not motivation to. Amazingly friendly guys and very knowledgeable. A customer for life Please remember to post reviews about all companies you come in contact with but be weary about fake reviews as well. There are companies out there that other companies hire to leave fake reviews so if it sounds really generic, its probably fake.
