Beyond unprofessional...took over a year to paint decks. Didn't show up when scheduled. Painted in…read morethe rain and blamed us for the damage .... harassment - told him I'd be out of town for 2 days and when I got home I would check my records to verify I still owed what he was asking for , in less than 48 hours I rec'd 2 nasty phone calls 4 nasty texts and they drove all the way from Siletz to Seal Rock to knock on the door and demand money from my husband ! I put the Ck in the mail the day I got home. He was supposed to come repair the damage and did come and threw a 3 year old temper tantrum over pressure washing that he sad he would do in a text to me, telling me I was a liar ... I sent him a copy of the text ... that really bruised his ego! The work is not professional, the damage when they painted in the rain is being redone, paint all over my windows outside. I have hired a real professional to repaint and clean up the mess they left. While from a human standpoint I feel badly for them, they seem so overwhelmed they can't function and are complaining to anyone who will listen how awful their clients are and how hard life is /they don't understand the idea of taking responsibility for your own actions, they feed off self victimization--let alone what professional work or behavior is (though he will yell at you at the top of his lungs how awesome he is) I have heard from a member of his team, apologizing to me...that says a lot right there!

These are honest, salt-of-the-earth folks. They'll get you set up. They were easy to work with!read more

We had a very difficult home to paint on a hillside in Stayton. Looking up from the lower yard and…read morejust imagining being way up there on a ladder with all your painting gear- and now you have to produce results!!! We were 5 star happy with the results and the willingness to redo some small spots to our critical eyes. The crew leaders were very professional in how they handled their guys. It was amazing watching them work into the evening to finish a surface begun much earlier. They earned every bit of their 5 stars! and we are pleased to recommend them.

Hi all, Wanted to post about my recent project with Fitzpatrick Painting and Construction out of…read moreAlbany. Here is what happened on our job. Prep day: During Prep removing a old awning beam hit the New light I had put up attached to the house. While it was tightened back down still does not sit flush with the all any longer. I had a bush and a new Rose Bush planted out front, trimmed and away from the house. They ensured me it would be covered. After work was done they both got paint on them and the rose bush sustained damage. (I did clean it up so the photo below makes it not seem so bad). The original house numbers were lost, even though they did replace them I consider this a lack off attention to detail. The biggest issue was after work was done. You give them a cashier check/cash or card on prep day for 50 percent. I gave this to them and the lead for the project lost it. They did process the balance check after work was done. (I did find out they deposited it but did not credit account) I saw on my account page with Fitzpatrick payment past due which was wrong I had paid in full. I would not hire them again. I do have some praise for the crew though. Despite the issue with the bushes they did listen to my questions and quickly resolved any questions I had. Good job patching the warn fascia. The senior painter who did our door was super painter man. I don't have permission to use his name but wish him the best in retirement. Suggestions: 1. Have better payment record systems in place, if payment first day with cash or check some sort of receipt system. Note you can pay with card but will pay a fee to do so by the payment processor. 2. If plants need protection take the time to do so, My bush and rose will recover over time some home owners may not be so kind. 3. My project did not have a lead on site during work, only start of day one when paint came and final wrap up before final walk. While there was a former lead it was not his job to review and manage the team. 4. Finally own any issues. Home owners need to know if there was a problem like the light. I do not know if it was ever recorded anywhere but I did share my concern with the lead on the final day. Please not I did not plan to review this project because the owner takes pride in his company. It was ultimately the lost payment issue that pushed me to this review. I feel he will take his company to the next level as they continue to grow. I have seen other projects done and they all look great from the curb. For that reason I still gave them a 3 with room to grow. PS If the guy that painted my front door retires and needs a little work I do have some interior paint I am looking at in the future.
