For adults on a Friday night you can typically enjoy a live band and dancing at the tiki bar and/or soak in the hottubs and on most Saturday nights the band is at the main stage where you can dance barefoot in the sand under the stars, sit with friends at a picnic table, or enjoy the massive bonfire at the back. There are movie nights for the kids, killer fireworks for Canada Day, Santa visits for Christmas in July, kids go around to seasonal sites for trick or treating in August, golf tournament fundraisers, and I'm sure more that I've forgotten. My family has made so many incredible memories here throughout the years and we are always looking forward to our next stay. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the event weekends (Halloween in August, Christmas in July etc) are phenomenal. Staff is friendly and the owners are very easy to talk to. Lilac resort used to have mini golf, and I think they should bring it back!... Yes, I am that old! Just saying in regards to the review mentioning "swingers" that is nonsense, I've been a loyal guest since I was a kid and never seen anything remotely close to a "swingers" hub . Lilac is an excellent family vacation destination. Definitely check it out! You gotta book fast though, usually a year in advance for certain weekends.

With only one staff doing everything, it was a bit chaotic. Then the password for wifi only worked at the restarant area but not at my room. I told the front but the issue has never been fixed. Last but not least, I paid in cash and they required $200 deposit, which is normal from my understanding. But in the morning when I try to check out, there is no body there. I couldn't get my money back. I had to wait untill noon for them to start working. Wasting the whole day. I would rather sleep in the car next time.
