As a 100% disabled combat veteran I appreciate the efforts exerted and results manifested by those qualified to put a foot forward in helping veterans of foreign wars.
These people have an equine ranch - horses to you and I - that is used for healing those people who have broken bodies be it mentally or physically. They offer programs such as riding horses in highly-controlled environments, to fishing trips and, most recently, a 50 mile hike in rough country recorded by professional cinema photographers - also veterans - aimed at grabbing the citizens attention as well as, and most importantly, the US Government including the Veterans Administration, in the hope that they all will understand that even though the standard of "No man left behind" is the goal, those of us who have received hazardous duty pay, theater pay, and especially combat pay, have truly left a large part of us behind. They are helping us recover the "man" we left behind.
