Our favorite indoor spot to go shooting. It's a quick drive, and we know all the friendly employees like our friends. I began my love affair with handguns with the rental Glock 19. Bill's teaching is superb! I recommend him to anyone looking to improve their skills or first starting out. It's not a big fancy gun range, and the higher caliber handguns we enjoy shooting must stay home (like my husband's S&W 500 revolver). The range gets very chilly when we have the rare cold day here in GA, so dress according to the weather outside. Unlike some indoor ranges I've visited, Eagle enforces common sense safety practices and their range rules. The employees constantly monitor all activity and provide assistance, so I feel more comfortable shooting. I wish every range did this! Targets, ammo, eye & ear protection(rental) are available for purchase if needed. You're not timed and pay to rent a lane. Eagle has a variety of guns in common calibers available to rent. A few more would be nice; however I did rent a Bersa Thunder .380 recently to try out for my mother. We later bought her one. About 2 years ago I rented a Ruger GP-100 .357, and now that's my newest addition. Remember that Glock 19 I mentioned at the beginning of this review... yep, a Christmas gift for the husband! We also take our guns to Eagle for maintenance and repairs. Mike does fantastic work. So it's been on my bucket list for a while to go to the shooting range for a proper course other than what Pops showed me. Katrina of Responsibly Armed was the trainer and did an excellent job. I loved being in a class where I could be the focus and ask as many questions as possible and do return demonstration. Out on the range I shot a Smith & Wesson M&P 380 Shield. Oh yeah, that first shot was in the blue. You see it? (Warm Up).. Now feast your eyes on those others. Multiple shots in the same exact hole on many hits but stayed in the white and even shot in the red on the following shots after #1. You know they say practice makes perfect. So I will be back. I'm a black, female and newish to shooting. I've gone several times and never had a bad experience. From the staff to the patrons, I've felt safe and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, quick to answer questions and extremely knowledgeable. If you don't own anything you can still drop in and have a great experience. You can rent weapons, eye and ear wear and purchase bullets and targets. It's perfect if you are still trying to decide if this is for you. There have been times where it was a little cool on the range so layer if you need to. I highly recommend this range and store. read more

As usual the staff acts holier than thou . I took my mom there so she could shoot her pistol. I brought mine as well . I was try to give her a bit of coaching when I was tapped on the shoulder by their one of their staff and he proceeded to tell me that 2 people cant shoot at the same time . I explained that my mom was the only one shooting and that we definitely were not shooting at the same time and he said that yes we were and he was standing at the window watching us . so I asked him " your telling me that both me and my mother had our guns out shooting at the same time ?" he said yes !!! I told him that I didn't and that he is lying he insisted that he was right so I packed my stuff up and left . I will never go back there .If he would have told me that I just needed to be behind the red line while my mom is shooting I would have been fine with that and corrected myself. But he kept insisting that he saw us both shooting at the same time, which never happened. They really need to work on their people skills . read more

What A Rip-off. Went there Saturday with the Bride and a friend. The bride wanted to try the 'medium' sized Glock. The website said the shooting lanes were $10 per hour. Our receipt read like this: 3@ $10 = $30 (3 shooters, same lane) 1@ $1 (eye and ear protection for one) 3@ $0.89 = $2.67 (targets) 1@ $5 (Glock rental) 1@ $15.99 (the SINGLE 50 round box of ammo) Total with tax was $58.49 for 3 shooters on ONE lane. They gave the 3 of us ONE box of ammunition for FOUR pistols that use the same ammunition. When we asked for one additional box, they said NO, one per lane. Oh, it also says in the store that only one person could be 'in the box' at one time. Okay, maybe they were a bit short of ammo, but as I was cashing out, I saw the same drone give another pair of shooters TWO boxes of the same ammunition for them to shoot. Never again will I be ripped off by them again. read more

Tool 2 sons and a nephew this afternoon. We brought our own pistols. $11 per shooter. That counted our safety equipment and out lane fee. There ammo prices are the best I could find in town on there target rounds. We shot 6 boxes of ammo and had loads of fun. They offer pistol classes and have a gunsmith on staff. The only place in middle Georgia you can have this much fun with a pistol league. read more

I felt ripped off. The men were knowledgeable but the ammo is High. Also, I noticed they're against Democrats. They made it a point to pick at blacks, Democrats and people of color with a bunch of memes posted. As a paying customer, I don't want to feel unwanted. I would like to feel welcomed in any environment that I'm paying for. I wish I could say that I'd be back but I won't. I had an amazing time here. I am from NY, so this was pure luxury for me. Went shooting here on two different days for under 30$ both times. Stayed for over 2 hours both times. Eagle has a very friendly staff and good selection. The range itself is very nice but is handguns only which is pretty normal for an indoor range. They have an automatic system for targets so you can send them out down the range with the flip of the switch. The range time prices are very reasonable and the prices on new and used guns are good. The have rentals for handguns, hearing protection, and eye protection at reasonable prices. read more

Incredibly discouraged. Pull in the parking lot at 6:11. I'm met outside by a gentleman that asks if I'm here to shoot. I say 'yes sir.' He tells me they are closed. I tell him he needs to see about changing the website, because it says they close at 7. He acknowledges and says they only allow shooters to start before 6. I tell him I only want half an hour anyway but I'll pay for the full hour, no problem. He reiterates, they close the range at 6. I ask about the 6 cars in the parking lot, he says they all started before 6. I again say I will be there half an hour, tops, so they can get out of there. He says, we close at 6. People just don't want to make money? I don't get it. read more

Out of all the gun ranges in Dallas, this is bar none the best for serious shooters. Other gun clubs have become somewhat of a carnival experience, and I never have felt particularly safe. And as a woman, I feel welcome and safe. Safety is paramount at Eagle, the stalls are extremely clean, amazing air circulation, and the staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I had not been back since COVID and am very rusty. I brought my guns in to decide which one I would favor for carry. While in the stall, Brian Eff came up and was so genuinely nice and asked if I needed any help - something I wouldn't have done myself lol! He helped me get situated and gave me some great pointers and I decided to take a private lesson. Brian helped me get over my initial discomfort with preparing to shoot and we worked on my site and breathing. Brian brings a level of enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong expertise unsurpassed. I have made Eagle my new weekly routing and continuing to improve my skills with continued lessons from Brian. The employees here are big jerks. The prices are a scam. They charge you way more than you would expect to shoot here. They charge for everything right down to the glasses and earmuffs! These people are crooks. Everything is overpriced. read more
