I've been meaning to post this review for the past six weeks and keep forgetting to do so! Today I had a teensy tiny issue with the latch on the gate and of course Eagle Fence is coming out to take care of right away... but the real review is not only their killer top-notch customer service, my fence is beautiful! I was really hesitant to get a fence because I didn't want to take away from the landscaping that we're working towards accomplishing, but we have three dogs, so it was necessary! So, a fence was the only way to go. Joel, Chase and Nikki are all amazing individuals and were so helpful throughout the process! Plus, when I signed our contract with them there was a bit of a delay from a permitting standpoint and somehow they were able to work some magic and got my fence installed a couple weeks prior to when I originally thought it was going to be installed! Score!! They knew I had three dogs and they knew the situation I was in so they really did me a solid favor and hustled so my dogs would not be the death of me! The fence is gorgeous (I will post pictures) and we've gotten so many compliments!! The customer service is amazing. Also, to be honest the price was incredible! I was expecting my fence to be much, much more. Like they saved me some serious dolla,dolla,dolla bills yo! So thank you very much Eagle Fence! We had a new fence and gate installed by Eagle Fence in February, and within just a few months the gate began failing. The vinyl is already cracking at the hinges, screws are pulling out, and the gate is misaligned and under pressure when closing. This is not normal for a new installation. When we contacted the company, the issue was blamed on "wind," and they mentioned an aluminum frame would have been needed -- something that was never recommended or discussed during installation. We asked for an inspection, but instead of evaluating the issue in person, our concerns were dismissed. Very disappointed with the quality of the work and the lack of accountability. I have to agree with most reviews on here. Had I discovered these reviews before selecting them, I would not have used. They did put up a fence, and the installers did the best they could with the materials they were given , and the planning they received. The fence that they put up, even resembled the fence I ordered. It is in the wrong spot, and crooked. the gates do not line up, and cause an injury pinch point to your hand when you are operating it, and to your toe, from the horribly fabricated gate frame we paid a ton extra for, and waited weeks to be completed. every interaction with the office was a horrible communication cluster. I would stay as far away from these people as you can. The end result was a poorly constructed fence, that is crooked, and in the wrong place, and is not the product that we were shown in the showroom. very slippery, and deceptive company. read more

We are very pleased with Eagle Fence. Initially, we worked with Bradley to come up with the layout of our fenced area. Bradley knows a thing or two about fences in SWFL. You can tell he's done a lot of projects in gated communities in the area. This was reassuring and a big selling point for us as we were managing the project from out of state. Nikki and crew were easy to work with via email, and helped us get the paperwork needed for the HOA. I would definitely use them again. read more

Stay away from these stinkers, they wanted 50 percent down which I didn't have an issue with, but then fooled around for days before sending me the most outrageous one sided contract ever. It said if the hit hard dirt, upcharge, weren't responsible for whatever the broke, sprinkler lines, electric lines, etc, a $300 charge for rescheduling, $25 a day for nonpayment, no ability to question workmanship, you were going to pay all their attorney fees, they would slap a mechanics lien on your home, YADDA YADDA. No where did they give you the right to A quality job in a workmanlike manner, ability to inspect the job, or safeguard your money. Run don't walk from this rude bunch! read more

Eagle Fence (Chris) told me that because of irrigation pipes close to the fence line, they could not "straighten" my vinal fence after Hurrican IAN. However, for an additional charge they could "replace" the vinal fence and posts, thereby protecting the irrigation system. After the installation, my backyard sprinklers no longer worked because of a geyser along the new fence line. My irrigation company dug under the new fence to find a broken PVC pipe. Once repaired, another broken pipe was found, and then yet another. Finally, Eagle Fence somehow broke the 90-degree PVC elbow and replaced it with a water pump hose and two hose clamps. In all, Eagle Fence did $600 of damage to my irrigation lines and did not even bother to respond to my inquiries. Anyone using Eagle Fence needs their head examined. read more

They installed the fence, and my sprinklers were on the other side. Broke irrigation pipe, installed the back fence on top of a sprinkler head, and encased it in concrete. According to them they are not responsible as per the contract. Basically they can come to your property, damage your equipment, and leave like nothing happed. Not a reputable, company. We at first had a great experience with Eagle Fence and loved the product they provided. They later sold the company to one of their employees however and followup is dismal. One of the gate latches rusted completely away and paint is peeling off the fence in several locations. When we contacted them they at first said we were out of warranty and then said when we gave them the final inspection date that 'hardware' is not covered by the warranty. Not sure what if ANYTHING is covered. Don't use them under any circumstance. read more

We had two fences installed by Eagle Fence. They have in their contract that they are not responsible for any cut water lines. So they came to install our fence and broke our irrigation system in 4 places without even a mention to us that they had cut them. After repairs of over $300 we called them to discuss how their workers came to do a job and busted our irrigation system, did not mention any of this to us and left. Receptionist said "Sorry not responsible for that" "Can't help you" So I feel if you hire a company to do a job it should be done with some type of professionalism and not just rush to get the fence installed and not care what you bust while completing the job. So needless to say we are done doing business with Eagle Fencing Cape Coral, FL. read more

I do not recommend Eagle Fence, when they repaired my fence they removed my pavers without asking me first. They also spray painted my pavers. I was inside my house during the repairs and they did not even let me know they were at the property. Good thing my 2 dogs were not in the backyard because they may have tried to escape. The manager admitted they did not have permission to remove the pavers and admitted fault. She also mentioned they should have let me know they were at my property prior to doing the repairs. When I asked them to help resolve the issue they said the owner would not pay for the repairs. The damage to my pavers will cost me more than the repairs to the fence. I completely regret hiring them and should have looked for other options. If you hire them to do a job good luck with getting them to pay for any damages. There are many other companies in the area that I would hire instead of dealing with a company like this. read more

This company either doesn't know how to install a fence in FL or they simply don't care as long as they are still able to steal people's money. We had them install a vinyl privacy fence a few months ago. At the time they stated over the phone that the fence would be able to withstand 150mph winds. We never really thought that was accurate but they offered a really good price. Little did we know that the fence would fall down in winds of 40-50 mph! Come to discover, the price was so cheap because they used shorter fence posts that only went into the ground 2 ft. with very little concrete to set them. After reading more online and contacting other fence companies, we learned that the fence posts need to be replaced with longer posts and the proper amount of concrete in order to withstand FL weather. If you are thinking about having this company install your fence, do yourself a favor and either forget about the fence and flush your money down the toilet, or hire Larry, Moe and Curly to install it and be guaranteed better workmanship! read more

We used Eagle when we moved to Cape Coral in 2018. Very satisfied at that time. When we acquired the lot next door, we extended our fence, but Eagle was now owned by someone else. No worries, they still install the same style of fencing. Initially we were told they could reuse 6 sections.. but then the estimate guy told us, no we can't reuse any old sections because we can't guarantee they won't get destroyed during the removal. So we adjusted our perimeter and measured out that we could use only full sections. Now the instal date arrives.. they mis-measured the front yard facing length by 6 inches.. resulting in the end section with an extra post and 2 small sections. Blatantly obvious. You'd think for $7,000 measuring would be top priority? They left our yard riddled with plastic water bottles, cigarette butts, fencing parts, and empty cement bags for 2 days. My husband and I had to clean up and stack parts every evening so our dogs wouldn't get into anything; Plus we didn't want anything to end up in the canal. The garbage, 5 fence posts were left partially open and we had to complete filling the holes, and screwing up the front fence line we're the biggest missteps. My advice, stay home when they instal and keep an eye on them . Otherwise, decent work. read more

What a great experience called them and had someone come out to give a quote and they were cheaper then all the others I had come out to quote. They show up to our house without any notice, made our gate wrong, put it in and had to take it BACK OUT and remake it, they left a disaster mess that my mom herself had to clean up, and the gate wouldn't even open all the way after the first install. It's been installed fully for a week now and it doesn't open again. If you call the company number for help, Nikki will answer and give you either 0 help or give you MAJOR attitude. This company brushed off my first estimate at a rental property. Couldn't be bothered doing the work. I then bought a home in the cape and hired them on recommendations. The guy that came did an absolute hack job on the installation. When my wife questioned the issue the worker began spitting at her and telling her too bad. That's how it looks. When i finally got a supervisor to look at the horrendous job they did on the crooked fence he agreed and couldn't believe his worker left it like that. Gave the option to fix it or take it out for a refund. I chose the refund. After it was removed. The remnants of black spray paint was up and down the entire corner of my house and white gutters because the fence was a black chain link and they thought they should spray paint it. When i asked them to wash the paint off the house they told me too bad. We refunded you and to power wash it or get house paint to paint over it. The installers don't speak English and are rude. The guy is lucky i wasn't home. The office girls are rude and do not care about doing the right thing. The supervisor was a 20 something year old kid who had no idea what to do. Then the ownership lied and said we threatened not to pay which is why they refunded. Total BS!! This company has gone way down hill after the new ownership. Fence and customer service was good but they left their trash behind for me to dispose of. Big slugs of dirt left for mower to hit. Did not pick up orange flags. Also concrete slopped on the ground. I don't know how I will get rid of it unless I bury it. read more

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Eagle Fence. They came personally recommended from a friend whose opinion we value highly, so we already had high expectations even before we contacted them. They managed to even exceed those! After first contacting them for a quote, one of their Master Installers (Mike Pollock) showed up quickly and on-time. He was extremely professional and guided us through his measurements & estimates (we really appreciated this as we are first time homeowners & this is the first big investment we are putting into our house). You could tell he had years of experience and really knew the area and what to recommend (the slight price difference in vinyl is a significantly better long-term investment rather than wood). After we gave the go-ahead, Mike quickly arranged to come out and install the fence personally. I have never seen as much attention to detail as he put into this fence and my wife & I greatly appreciated it. He definitely even got rained on a few times. At the end of it, we ended up with an amazing fence for a very reasonable price that we will have for years (our dogs are pretty happy about it too!). Stay away from this company. My experience mirrors that of a prior reviewer. I hired them to install a fence on my property. A large part of the fence they installed was damaged and scratched. After 5 attempts to repair the fence, they have been unable to correct the issues. Instead, they caused further damage. A portion of the fence is now no longer level with the rest. Other portions are still scratched and damaged. Instead of correcting the shoddy workmanship, the owner of the company has demanded that I make the final payment and threatened to remove the fence if I do not. In my communications with him owner, he has been completely unwilling to accept responsibility and correct and complete the work to a proper standard. We were told they are no responsible for our underground sprinkler lines, which I get...then proceded to cement over an above ground sprinkler head that was next to a post. When we informed them, we were told "sorry we aren't responsible, didn't you read the contract?" Even if they weren't liable, they saw the sprinkler head right next to the hole they were digging for the post. They knew it was cemented in. It was right next to our seawall and was bubbling up from the ground. Even if they believe they weren't liable, ethically they should have told us what happened. That could have been a disaster had we not specifically checked to see if they broke our sprinkler lines. Customer service was nasty as well. The new company looked up to see if they had my name in the computer , my name was in computer , now the good stuff. I have been complaining about the gate prior to the business being sold She first told me it was out of warranty and there was nothing they can do and would send someone out for 75.00 to see what the problem is. I told her this problem has been going on before warranty expired. I have been calling the installer to fix the gate. He has been over several times and the problem is still there and he is over worked. He said he would be over and no show. This is a true buyer beware company. My wife and I were very happy we were going to finally get our fence. How foolish we were. The problems started the day they started. First the installers (we did find out after the fact that they were sub contractors and the building permit was issued in a completely different company name that we had never heard of) dug holes 4 to 6 inches deep then used a t-post driver to sink them into the ground. They then stretched the chain link and used 50 pound bags of concrete to do between 3 to 4 posts. I told them of numerous problems before they left including the fence should not be 4 to 6 inches off the ground and there was not enough concrete. They told me they would fix it when they brought the gates out. When they brought the gates out 3 out of 3 where wrong (1 was serviceable) so they built more. Their fixe for the fence being to high was to take a sledgehammer and drive them further into the ground. Numerous trips to fix resulted in Chase McFarlane ( the supposed owner) calling screaming and telling me he was going to have the guys take the fence down. I told him that would be fine as soon as he refunded my money. He told me they were taking it down. I then told him that I might have to sit in my Backyard with a shotgun (I don't even own one) he called the cops. And it just goes down hill from there. After numerous complaints Stephanie Burgos the office manager set an appointment for Joel or sales representative and the installers to come out and finish the fence for September 15, 2020. Chase called on September 13 screaming again and said he was going to file a lien on our property (we found out he did do this without sending us a copy). The office called a short time later and said no one would be coming back out. HORRIBLE!!! Bad Customer Service, Late and poor installation. I obtained 4 quotes from local fencing companies in the Cape. This place was not the cheapest (they we in the middle of the pack). I went with them for two reasons, our realtor recommended them and the reviews online were good. They told me it would be 2-3 weeks before they could put the fence in.... well it is 6 weeks later and after multiple calls to them (they never called to let me know it was delayed) asking about it, the fence got installed. It is poorly installed and I have busted irrigation pipes and huge gaps at the bottom of the fence in multiple areas. When I called to ask if they would pay 50% percent of the repair cost for the pipes (the contract does say "at their discretion"), the lady on the phone said the contract states we don't pay for that. I said that the contract actually states that it is "at their discretion" and I asked her to ask someone if they would consider it...she put me on hold for 20 seconds and said, no we aren't paying for that stuff anymore..... there was no, I'm sorry, that's unfortunate, nothing. She didn't even offer the name of a company who I could call to have it fixed! I called the realtor so they know not to recommend this place anymore and I will make sure to tell everyone what an awful business transaction this has been. Eagle Fence should Never be allowed on your property They promised that the job could be done in a single day which is important due to us having a grey hound. There was a promise that whatever section of the old fence that is taken down, the new fence would be up immediately. There was promise the construction would take one day. They promised an absolute start date, guaranteed. Never showed, I took a day off from work and lost pay. They never called to be late, wouldn't answer the phone. Took next day off never showed lost Day at work. No phone call. On third day I called late was on a Friday to FIRE these chumps. At 5 o'clock the fencing supplies were dumped on my neighbor's yard. No phone call on Monday, I got one of their customer service people on the phone only because I used a different phone number. Asked them why they have started the fence since it was promised to have been finished by this date. I was basically told there is nothing they can do about it and hung up on me. The supplies sat until the following Wednesday at 4:30 when a solitary worker showed up for less than an hour worth of work. These knuckle heads pulled down a large section of the old fence, and didn't start the new fence. The greyhound escaped. Ever tried to catch a greyhound? When the worker showed never let us know that he came never let us know when he left and there was a large exposed area that which is dangerous for the dog and the pool area was wide open with no fence. A liability to us. Multiple calls were never answered for a week, but the fence went up 6 feet a day. Their worked hand dug the posts. They did not use any professional auger equipment. We were suppose to have a large memorial service at our house on the weekend of June 5, and our fence was only 1/3 done. I finally got the owner Brian on the phone and explained how awful the service has been and how crooked the fence is and that our back yard is an absolute mess with a 1/3 of a fence up that is now over a month late. Brian guaranteed that the fence will be up by that Friday and that he will personally come out and make sure that the fence gets done for our family gathering. Guess what, they were no shows.... Fence sat for another two weeks. The workers would only come when we weren't home. They also did not finish tying the fence into the next fence which allows The greyhound a route to escape the yard. Multiple attempts to call, no return calls. I left messages that I was not going to pay the balance until they come and straighten out the zigzag fence. One year later I get a bill stating that I have 3 days to pay the balance (despite numerous phone calls) or they will charge me $25 per day late fee which would be an additional $6,900. I called their office asking politely to resolve this issue was met angrily with issues like the hurricane did it, and was YELLED at rudely by their customer service. She then promised that the owner Brian will call me within 24 hours. No phone call Three follow up calls No phone call from the owner Please make sure that Eagle Fence does not install your fence. This company is the WORST I have ever dealt with! They do a really poor job, then they respond with lies. 1. They installed my fence on top of the sprinklerheads, they say they are not responsible for anything in your yard, However, they apparently cant look down either 2. They installed the fence up against a stump in the yard, they say they asked to install 3 feet in, they never asked, the installers did not speak a work of English, so they lied. 3. They installed a gate that will not open properly because of the grade in the yard and another sprinkler head, they claim we 'approved' the sketch by submitting payment. Although we did ask them to install the fence with the opening on the other side, I would have expected them to explain to me why that would be a problem. 4. When they arrived, they sliced through the cable that provides internet service, since I work from home, this was a problem because I was not able to work for 2 hours until it was fixed by the phone company having to come out. I guess that was not their fault either, even though there is a sign in the yard that says 'call before you dig'. This was ignored!!! His price was far lower than the two other fence companies we consulted with and much more professional.
