I am very happy with the job Dan and his crew performed. My exterior was very sun damaged, peeling and even some dry rot. They power washed then scraped and primed the badly damaged areas. They also back rolled and used at least 4 coats on my dark front door that I wanted white. Additionally they installed my new light fixtures. The house looks brand new-wonderful job guys! read more

Five stars for Pete, the MVP of Eagle Eye Painting! He was super professional, and just such a joy to work with that I will definitely be referring others here for any painting needs. I just needed touch up painting for my custom credenza and Pete took care of it easily, matched my pain perfectly, and applied a primer and 3 coats to make a durable finish. The crew was great to work with. The failing was on my part. Their bid contract specified 1 coat. Going over old, sun-faded yellow, I figured 1 coat would suffice. And 1 coat DOES cover the old yellow. But the yellow was sun faded, from the infamous Redding heat, which also dried out the wood. The wood is now sucking up the paint, and in many areas, it looks like a 5-10-year-old paint job when in truth, it is a 2-day-old paint job. I'm going to have to go over about 1/4 to 1/3 of the house myself with a sealer, and then repaint. I should have gone with the other bid for an extra $700. The one whose bid specified "2 coats or as needed to cover". Maybe this is what I get, for hiring the low bid. These pics I took this morning 10/1/22. YELP does not give e the option of editing my earlier review. So, I am adding this one. Throughout my working career, military and civilian; it was a professional goal that I own my mistakes. Blaming others was never my way. I recently painted my kitchen cabinets. They were dark stain before, now they are white. Makes the kitchen much brighter. As I was doing that project, I found myself spending an inordinate amount of time with wood putty, filling cracks and flaws in the wood, that where invisible when they were stained dark. But those same flaws shone brightly, when highlighted by white paint. Dan sent his foreman back out, to address the issues I had after the initial paint application. He fixed it, as best he could. The problem I am beginning to fear, is that the wood siding is 45 years old and has suffered, as we all do, under the Redding heat. I think the old faded yellow paint, hid a lot of the flaws in the siding, which the fresh, bright white, does not hide. Dont get me wrong, there is nothing inherently wrong with the siding; it is just aging under the Redding heat. So, to Dan...you have my apologies for the 1st review. If YELP offered me a way to delete it, I would. However, I see no such option. read more

Excellent work. Dan and April are great to work with. Pete and crew did an amazing job on the cabinets. This consisted of the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. I had debated on getting new cabinets but mine were in relatively good shape. The finish was wearing off the wood. Painting of the cabinets brought them back to life. They shine and look new.
