I would stay as far away from this company as possible, they don't communicate, they stand you up repeatedly & they have no concept of customer service. Maybe we dodged a bullet though, with communication and scheduling being this difficult for them, I cannot say I would be very confident in their ability to do the actual hard work. Here is what we experienced:
Initially we thought it was going to be good, we got pleasant technician that seemed knowledgeable, so we scheduled with them. On the day before our appointment we got a text asking if the yard had been marked & I told them I hadn't seen anything. I was told they didn't get it ordered in time & were resubmitting a ticket to try to get them there that day. That was the last I heard despite my attempts to call & text them to find out what was going to happen with our appointment. And, come the next morning, they did not show. I reached back out to them on that day (Saturday) & again on the following Monday, leaving several messages.
Several days passed and then I received a text saying they were still waiting for the yard marking. I asked for an ETA & for a time we could reschedule the work and got no answer. It took multiple phone calls that week but I finally got through to someone on Thursday. She told me she would call the marking service & expedite our yard. Later she told me the marking would happen by end of day Friday & the crew could come out Sunday to do the work. She said she would send me a confirmation message.
On Friday, late in the day, the marking in our yard was done. I called in on Saturday to confirm the marking was done & noted that I had not received the confirmation email. I didn't receive a response & come Sunday, no one showed up or called. Same on Monday, no communication. Tuesday I called them at 10:30am & again no one answered the phone. I left a message explaining how frustrated I was with the lack of communication & that we had changed plans two weekends in a row only to be stood up twice. I emphasized that the marking was done but I have weekly mowing on Thursdays & they would surely remove the flags to do the mowing thus we needed to get it done asap. I got no response. I called again at 11:30am, again no one answered. I left another voicemail.
At 12:14pm I got a text message saying they had escalated the situation & a manager would call me at 5pm. I wrote back saying it was urgent & I had a meeting at 5pm. She asked me what time the meeting was over, which I told her was 5:30pm. She then texted that the manager would call me at 5:45pm. I responded that we were running out of time & I had lots of availability during the day. I gave her the times I had open & she said she would let the manager know. All day, no call. 5:45pm rolls around & NO call. I texted to them at 5:50pm asking if she was going to call. I received the response "Yes, she's on the phone right now but will call you after". I expressed that I was frustrated & shocked that the company couldn't even keep a phone call appointment. The manager finally called me at 6:09pm. She had no idea what we had experienced. I explained it all & she apologized profusely & offered to make it right by having the crew show up at 7am the next morning. This would keep us from having the issue with the mowers moving the flag.
I was reluctant to trust them again but she assured me they would arrive at 7am, so I said yes. I then received two confirmation texts later that evening, one of which I needed to reply Y to to confirm the next day appt. I did that. We got up super early to get our dogs out so they wouldn't interrupt the work at 7am. 7am comes & goes, no crew.
At 8am, I sit down to do some work before taking my kiddo to camp & I see an email that arrived at 6am from Nate, the owner. In the email he blames the yard marking company for taking too long to respond to their ticket requests. He also apologized for his team's lack of communication but then let me know they would not be arriving, that they decided to cancel the work altogether. Clearly the issues come from the top. read more
