They did a decent job on that so i expanded the scope and had them do three more gardens. They were to pull out all weeds, and put down weed suppression mats. It looked great and clean until this spring when their shoddy work was exposed. Weeds coming up everywhere. John, the face of the company, is a nice guy but he made lots of promises he's since broken. They made a huge mistake and ripped out HALF of a huge established perennial garden. TERRIBLE. They said they'd reimburse me for replacement plants and plant them. They did but literally NOT ONE came back this spring. I've never had this issue with plants i install. Last month i had to contact John 4 times before he responded. He assured me they'd make it right but has since ghosted me. I feel very deceived. We paid lots of money and have little to show for it. Half the reason i hired them was because they were a scrappy start-up, John seemed trustworthy and i wanted to support them. Never again.

Most soils im sure are pulverized when damp, leaving clumps and other undesirable contaminants, and offer little nutriant rich material. This stuff is compost black. I would absolutely use this black dirt over the overated miracle grow I have tried in the past, as well as the many other pulverized black dirt and delivery companies I have used. Don't believe me? I barely realized anyone was here and was so grateful I didn't have to spend extra time trying to coordinate. Asked for a $150 more on top of the $650 I was quoted, which was fine because it was a big job and $650 was already by far the best deal I'd found. Paid via Zelle. - Cut up logs and stumps with a chainsaw and used a tarp and wheelbarrow to move all the stuff across half an acre. - Polite, expedient, considerate. I fed him lunch and coffee and water. I wouldn't hesitate to have these dudes back.

I have bought a lot of plants here and have got even more advice from the incredibly helpful staff. They answer all my incredibly dumb, repetitive questions. They help me find the specific type of whatever plant I am looking for. For example, we bought a bunch of hydrangeas and a staff member helped us think through which variant would be best in specific locations in our yard. They also have a home goods shop with some really nice decorative stuff, too.
