I've purchased a lot of things on discount days, as well as when they do online auctions of big lots of items once a sale has commenced. They do a great job and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Great prices, but if you are a bargain shopper, I definitely suggest coming after the first day to get the best prices on amazing treasures!

I am assuming they did that so people can park there to load heavy items. I liked the way they had the merchandise arranged. Google says, to be an antique, the item has to be a 100 years old or older. Not sure how many actual antiques you'll find in Hoover's but you make your way through this large space, selecting things you plan to purchase, and pay for all of your doodads at a central cash wrap at the front of the store. Cash and/or credit cards accepted. Like many flea markets, thrift stores, vintage shops--prices have gotten high. You definitely need to set a price you're willing to pay for something and walk away if it's over your budget. A couple of booths were offering 50% off the marked price. I scored a few bargains. Whether you buy anything or not, there's lots to look at and you can fill a few leisurely hours. I wish the staff working the front desk would be more careful with items they ring-up and wrap-up for customers. Items are carefully chosen throughout the mall and one clank on the cash wrap counter and the item is chipped. I've observed this is a common occurrence at other businesses, like Hoover's, too. All of them need to treat the customers' selections with more care. Parking lot available in front of the entrance.

They put up signs telling people not to park on both sides of the street. That makes it safer for their customers and the neighbors. They do an excellent job displaying the merchandise so that it is pleasant to look at an easy to find what you want. If I were to need to liquidate my estate right now, Execute might be the company I pick because they are protective of the owner's belongings. They know how to price items so the owner gets a fair price, but they don't price things so high that a lot of it doesn't sell or that everyone waits for the 50% off day. There are some companies that over price things so much that most people just look around on full price day to see what they want to buy on 50% off day. This was a particularly fun estate sale largely because the owner had things that just screamed happiness and fun. Most item were well priced so when I saw something I liked, I just got it on the first day rather than take a chance it might be gone. The only thing I waited on was a parrot on a swing. The first day price was just more than I wanted to pay. It was probably worth that much, but not for me. I placed a bid on it and was so happy when I won. Just looking at what was in the house, I guessed the man was a dentist, golf enthusiast, and was moving to Costa Rica. I was right. He had left that morning.
