After looking into infant CPR classes all across the city for my husband and I to take before our baby is born, we found EA Certs here on Yelp. Mike responded to our initial inquiry immediately, and set up a time that worked for our busy schedules. Unlike the other classes we found, this one was one-on-one, which allowed us to ask as many questions as we needed in order to feel confident in what we were learning. It was also the same price as group classes in the area, so it was well worth the money. We thought we would leave feeling scared of all of the ways our baby could be hurt, but instead we left feeling confident that we will know what to do in an emergency. I took a BLS class yesterday with Mike, and I had so much fun! So much so that I had to leave my first Yelp review :D Like most CPR/BLS classes, the class consisted of watching the videos from the American Heart Association and practicing the skills when we were prompted to. Mike made sure to stop the videos to emphasize important points and elaborate on interesting topics. Mike is one of those people who know exactly how to explain something so that you not only understand it, but also remember it for a long time! Before going on to the next skill, Mike always asked if anyone wanted more practice. Even though we didn't need more practice, I would have felt comfortable asking for additional practice because I could tell that he really wanted everyone to master the skills (and that he wasn't just asking as a formality or out of habit). I will definitely come back when I need to renew my certificate. I highly recommend EA Certs with Mike! :) There's a reason why everyone rated it 5 stars! P.S.
