We have our mortgage loan through this unprofessional company. We have been looking for another…read morecompany because what they did was not fair or right. We called to make sure funds were available. They attempted to remove the funds and were not able to on 7/1 (mortgage is due on the 6th) instead of going back in there to recollect they did not. They not only didn't do that they didn't inform us if there was an issue and stated everything was fine after calling to their automated service 3x and finally getting a response from a live person. LoanDepot ended up taking us off automatic withdrawal. We told them this was their fault and to correct are credit report and for some reason even after showing PROOF they declined are request. Needless to say we will be done with this company as they are very unprofessional and corrupt with their proceedings. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

WTF? Am I supposed to go back in time? Loan Depot said that if I did not have flood insurance by the 16th they would add a flood insurance policy to my existing homeowners policy. And I am not even in a local, state, or federally designated flood plain! Very rude and in your face letter. Suffice it to say I did scramble to get flood insurance and have it now but their attitude and customer service sucks.

After arriving home we sent documentation asked for and then we didn't hear from Finance of America Mortgage and assumed everything was on schedule to close. Took 3 days to drive down, had all our belongings sent ahead, arrived at walk through one hour before closing and the nightmare began. Got a call and they needed much more paperwork than we were told or asked for before we left our home state. Had to spend the next 4 nights in hotels while trying to access information without any computer, sometimes sending the same info multiple times. Finally closed 10 days later and today they let us know they needed more info for them to "sell" the loan to an investor. Would not recommend them to anyone, poor communication during the process, very stressful!!
