The folks at the Thousand Oaks location make great conversation about watches; but can't seem to follow directions or get a repair done on time. They said it would be ready Tuesday, it wasn't ("waiting for parts" was the answer when I called). Then they said Wednesday, it wasn't ready then either (yet again, I called to find this out before driving there). Finally, the next day I called to learn the watch was indeed ready (again, notice they never called me).
When I opened the case to looked over the watch, I noticed they didn't do one thing we agreed upon (a couple case clamps and screws because mine were missing), but I don't think they charged me for it. The other item, an o-ring replacement in the crown on a diving watch, showed no change or cleaning. I got out a magnifier to check and couldn't see that one had actually been installed (yes, I removed the stem and all that).
All in all, just go somewhere else for watch repair. read more
