Megan Kosanic is an abysmal property manager. She seems to work from 11 am - 2 pm tuesday -…read morethursday. Acted unprofessionally and arrogantly, never responds to texts in a reasonable amount of time, and showed up 20 minutes late to our tour. This organization then proceeded to take our $375 application fee and ran.

I've attached photos of the unit the day I moved out. This is the unit that needed a $446 clean, and needed a full repaint costing $1,497.99 according to SVN. One of the bedrooms wasn't even used for anything other than storing boxes, so I don't see how it's possible I did enough damage to the walls to require a full repaint. I have attempted to contact SVN several times to discuss these charges and have not received a response. This also happened several times during my lease when I had questions about charges on my account. Beyond the charges, my entire move-out process was very unpleasant. I was repeatedly asked well before the time frame required by my lease for notice whether I would be moving out. Once SVN started showing my apartment, there was a time that I received a text that asked "are you home right now?" and my door was being unlocked less than two minutes later without even knocking. I was repeatedly asked if I would be vacating the apartment early, and SVN had their maintenance crews using my front porch to store materials for a railing they wanted to build when I left before my lease ended. I have rented entirely with property management companies for the last six years. I have never had even close to half of my deposit withheld for routine paint touch up etc. I have also never had a harder time getting in contact with a property management company, both before I moved out and after. There are plenty of other property management companies in Pittsburgh, I recommend avoiding SVN.

Aesthetically pleasing properties, and that's what you're paying for. We lived in one of their two…read morefloor lofts years ago and froze all winter long with $600+ heating bills and were infested with mice (which we had to take care of). The floors were refinished but there was zero insulation and you could just feel the cold air leaking through the seams. This isn't something I would overlook especially with single pane windows. In addition, the open plan kitchen was great except they didn't seal the brick so on a weekly basis we were cleaning pans of mortar that was falling from the walls. As far as the mice go, we killed about 2 dozen on or own despite constant complaints. This was the common theme, complaints were rarely acknowledged.

We rented an apartment for one year, and while living there we didn't have many issues, aside from having to call them multiple times to fix things. When we moved out, we made sure that everything was meticulously clean, because we really needed our security deposit back. But they refused to return most of the deposit, hitting us with charges that were totally unreasonable. The deposit was also returned to us late (slipped into our mailbox with no postmark, after the 30 day due date required by law). We took them to small claims court to try and get our money back, but we unfortunately lost. At court, Ron King (who we had never even met before in person) was very dismissive and rude to us. We were left with a very bad impression of Wylie Holdings. From talking to others we know who have rented from them, we know it's not the first time they have done something like this. We just wanted everyone to be aware, especially if you are currently renting from them.

Acri Community Realty - Now that I have tidied it up, we will no longer blow up the entire building.

After snowfall, the roads and common areas were left fully covered in snow and ice, with no one sent to clean it. It was unsafe, especially for families with kids. What's frustrating is that they have no problem increasing fees every year, but when it comes to actually maintaining the community, they disappear. Snow removal and safety are basic responsibilities, not extras. Residents are paying more and getting less. Poor management, lack of accountability, and no concern for resident safety. I would not recommend this association to anyone.

My ex husband owns the townhouse at 102 Pine Valley Drive in Imperial, PA. Once I discovered that…read moreour three adult children had been forbidden from going into the basement or the access the fuse box, I moved my ENTIRE world back in to start helping with bills. When I attempted to notify the police and his father of the code ordinance violations (the building itself as a tenancy when he is rarely conscious there -- as a foul tobacco-spitting night janitor at RMU who needs to sleep ten hours a day), I somehow got committed to a mental hospital to an involuntary psyche commitment, and he and his best buddies Scott and Katie Zanella had a good laugh about it -- since Scott works for Howard Hanna, sold Mike this house, handles all the software so my email never goes to the right people, and even invited him specifically to their daughter's graduation party last sunmer. As for me, I missed my daughter's graduation ceremony as the police hauled me away when I showed them the house. Without an actionable step to prove I was "a danger" to my ex husband, the 302 was not even legal. But then again, who cares about that in North Fayette when child predator Anthony Saveikis's local magistrate sign still hangs (county ordinance violation), so no one can quite tell just who the local judge was who signed that last order.
