And my tires were out on the back of my car that's when I found out they didn't change the shocks on the back of my car that I paid for. My truck was in their shop that's why I was getting my car repaired so I would have something to drive. When I got my truck out of the shop multiple times with multiple problems because they are supposed to put a new motor in it then the transmission wasn't installed right the seals were no good all kinds of problems . I would not recommend this shop for anything but tires . They have not messed me up with tires

from july 2024 til sep 13 2025 i dealt with this shop to put new motor in a 1996 chevy 3500 gas…read moretruck 350 motor costing me $8722+ need honest review? here it is.craig hurst bought this shop after i had already been using it for all my mechanical needs on various trucks trailers cars all the time as i was driving over 100k miles a year. things got squirrelly after the place was purchased by the hursts. i went there july 2024 kyle was the manager he has since quit opened his own shop. i dropped my farm truck 1996 chevy 3500 350 gas truck (should be easy to fix) mid july 2024. august 30 2024 told me i needed new motor truck had skipped time motor was ruined. i pd by check for the deposit for new crate motor $4500. if i didnt pay by check id have no proof id been there except the mechanic and kyle..this place gives zero paper reciepts for anything. you can buy tires, injector cleaner from inside store no reciepts it took till feb 20 2025 to get my truck back. 6 months...got truck was running rough first day! i stopped for feed guy at feed store reconnected spark plug wire that was off. first day i had it, went down hill from there...went to get first ever oil change on this "new" motor guys at express oil change said mam your throttle is not connected proper thats why smells like gas so bad, your air hoses not secure and you have an oil leak.it smelled of gas so bad they couldn't breathe down in the pit.so truck out of highway 9 shop about a week has oil leak #1...said it was orig hoses leaking..easy fix...then 2 weeks or so later truck wouldn't start! major oil leak ruined the starter truck wouldn't crank! i took it back to highway 9. i had to pay for new starter ruined by massive oil leak. craig said its intake leaking orig to old motor. said sent aluminum part to machine shop find if had cracks, then said after months was rear main seal leak..come get it drive it while they wait on warranty work approval. so i tell people its got rear main seal leak they said do not drive it...park it! the seal could blow out and ruin your whole motor, so immediately i text craig tell him i'm parking the truck when you get the approval to repair it come get it. a few days later craig comes he drove it back to his shop.im like how does that happen on a new crate motor? so was told by craig hurst repeatedly after truck had been there 8 weeks or so that he was working with jasper motors to get warranty work on rear main seal fixed. so i called jasper motors gave them my trucks vin nbr and the shop info. jasper told me they have never sold a motor for my truck so that was a lie told to me multiple times by craig hurst. then i inform him jasper never sold them a motor he immediately said "oh im dealing with auto zone its a reman motor from there" so...in reality they have no paperwork to prove they bought a crate motor for my truck because they didnt buy a motor...this is the orig motor with new parts it appears. so $8722 i paid and have no idea what motor my truck has . truck sat there 9 may 2025 til late aug 2025 waiting on warranty work approval. ok so after "rear main seal" was supposedly fixed by craig and his son tyler on a weekend i get truck back all the transmission fluid fell out in my driveway.i tried to check the transmission fluid the dipstick wasn't even attached.craig comes tows it back mind you this is 13 months after truck went to shop im without a truck all but few weeks out of 13 months. craig said bolt wasn't tight fluid leaked into pan didnt hurt transmission. i get the truck back the next day it won't shift gears. i met craig he put in fluid said was just low. i drove the truck to lineville to the store next day it was hardly able to go in gear, no power. no transmission fluid in it at all..so i text craig he has never once answered me. so i called a certified mobile mechanic he fixed the leak.$479 i will not recommend highway 9 not a bit honest would not answer my call then lied said no longer have nbr. my friend called said need the truck or going to attorney then craig called me from store phone after saying his cell phone no longer had that nbr. my friend spoke to him.on that nbr 1 min prior....sorry but craig lies.. avoid this place....
