Several of our friends have mentioned that our wedding was one of the best weddings they have been to...and I feel that both of you had a huge part in it. It was great that you contacted me well before the wedding so we could meet and discuss the flow of events...and I know that I was not able to meet with you both till a few weeks before the wedding. Even with a short time to prepare, you guys did an excellent job with making suggestions on what we should and shouldn't do. You did a great job with listening to what we wanted and making helpful suggestions that incorporated our ideas. I also really appreciated both of you taking the time to come to the final walk through and providing some great ideas on how to set up the event space. On the day of the wedding you both very very helpful in organizing our wedding party and making sure people were in the right spot. You guys were so helpful in getting everything organized and keeping everything on track. The first dance song you helped us pick was amazing. There are so many details that we did not even think of when planning the event like getting all the Georgia Tech guests outside for a group picture. I can not thank both of you enough for everything that you did for our wedding. You guys went above and beyond what could be expected and because of that we had a wonderful wedding and reception. The music was great and everyone was having a great time.

DJ Bobby is the best in the business! His passion shines through with his ability to keep the crowd excited and engaged!! DJ Bobby did an amazing job with all of our events, and kept the dance floor packed! He also has awesome lighting and design options, including custom designed monograms (which we were lucky to have!), and the ability to sync the lights and the music together for the reception! We worked with Kiran on our invitations, and I am so glad we did! She has the most unique and beautiful cards and helped create a new custom designed card just for us! We were able to carry this theme throughout the wedding with all other stationary including gift bags, table arrangements, etc. Kiran worked with us throughout the entire process to ensure we received exactly what we wanted, and everything was more beautiful than we imagined! He was the first DJ in Atlanta to identify the Cheesy Songs, those which everyone got tired of hearing. His "No Cheese" policy ensures that none of those awful wedding cliche's get played---unless the paying customer asks for them. Imagine attending a wedding reception in the Atlanta area without hearing the Macarena, YMCA, or Chicken Dance......its a wonderful thing to have a DJ and emcee who will follow the bride's and groom's wishes......without doing anything embarrassing or cheesy. DJ Dez is a true professional--- and his company is the wedding Disc Jockey Service that I recommend to my clients who are planning an event in Atlanta, GA or the surrounding metro area.

There were so many small, Black owned businesses that I look forward to patronizing--especially a happy hour date at the non-alcoholic bar! But on to our 26th anniversary Scratch Out Loud DJ lessons date. The partner and operator of the venue was extremely knowledgeable, welcoming and engaging to us about the craft of DJing. I enjoyed the breakdown and history of vinyl because I'm one of those nerds that love learning a little bit about a lot of things. The ambiance of the studio was like entering into my era of house music, dimly lit basements and lots of crates, boom boxes and vinyls. There was a fully stocked refreshment bar set up to boot. The hands on experience we received was worth the money. The incentive monetary details to return for formal lessons was a plus as well. My husband and I had so much fun selecting various forms of vinyl to create our own mix music sessions. We each got to set up at individual turn tables and have a good old time with non-battling with our selection of songs. If you're looking for something engaging, educational, entertaining as well as a great brain game (middle age necessity) and you love music this is the thing to do! I highly encourage giving Scratch Out Loud a go! And while at it you can check out some of the other venues within the Koncept House loft. It's like a Gathering Spot for creatives. Totally my vibe.
