The waiter is knowledgeable and friendly and speaks multiple languages. He explains the dish and how it pairs with each glass of wine, making not only a delicious night, but one that teaches as well. The restaurant is just beautiful, in an old basement with a rounded ceiling and they even have a wine cellar further down. I recommend you dress fly and bring a date with you. Also, get different menus, so you can try more of the culinary journey. Also, we made reservations for a half hour later on a Saturday night. They were very accomodating. From the minute I arrived until I left, my expectations were completely exceeded. Talk about attention to detail. I walked in they greeted be by my name. And walked me to my table(I was rolling solo). They then offered a glass of champagne and being that I was celebrating a big milestone in my career I was going all out. I chose the sparkling Rose from Germany. After my drink order was situated they brought a few small bites to showcase what I had to look forward to. From that little teaser I knew I had some amazing food to look forward to. Again being that I was celebrating a big milestone I chose the 7 course with wine pairing. For each course they would bring out the wine and explain why this wine will pair with what I was about to eat...very spot on. With everycourse it just kept getting better. Even the English menu in a German restaurant is a challenge for us (what are chittlings again?). Our server took the time to advise us on local wines, recommend an off menu meal that was superb, suggest an excellent Turkish wine that we loved, and even bought us a shot of schnapps so we could end the meal like a good German. This was a highlight of our trip. If you want to try some Swabian food, this is your place. And to all you servers and hosts out there who take pity on customers who are out of our element and just trying to have fun; thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Murrhardter- Wow…read more Wow. No English menu, but the guy was so nice! We ended up mostly ordering schnitzel because we know what it is- the kids had turkey schnitzel and we had the regular. It was well prepared and so tender. Also the French fries (kids meal) wear so good and the fried potatoes (adult) were amazing as well! Loved it. What will we order for dessert?
