I woke up a bit late yesterday morning, not only that I woke up late but also now I was running behind to get to work on time. When I turned the water on to take a shower. It was freezing coldddddd. Yes I mean coldddd. I was really not in a mood for this. I quickly ran downstairs to check and see what was going on. Not that I am a plumber but I thought maybe a breaker must have tripped or loss of power or something. After checking out a few things and no success. I quickly got on the phone and started calling plumber's for help. I was running late for my work and I still haven't even taken a shower yet. Well even worst the plumbing companies that I called were not able to come out immediately. Before taking a day off from work and loosing my day's pay and waiting for an plumber to show up in the late afternoon as I was told. I decided to call another plumber before giving up. Jii, I was a bit surprise. Only minutes after leaving a message, I received a call back. I discussed my situation and the plumber said he can be here in 30-45 minutes. I agreed. In the meantime I made my self a cup of coffee and waited for the plumber to arrive. Just as I was having my coffee the door bell rang. I looked out of my window and saw it was the plumber. I let the plumber in and we walked down to the basement to look and find out where the problem was. After observing we find that my water heater gets heated through my boiler and there was some kind of coil that was gone bad after years of usage and my boiler is ancient to begin with. He explained me my options. It wasn't what I wanted to hear but at-least now we know what the problem was and we just have to choose an option of fixing the problem. Lately I been hearing alot about the new tank-less water heaters. I figured to ask the plumber for his suggestions and the cost involved. Angel was very professional and informative. He walked me through step by step and explained the complete installation process, pricing involved and finally $$$ Rebates$$. Who doesn't love free money?? Right.. Well after the tons of information that Angel provided me with and looking over other options. I chose the tank-less water heater system. I really didn't want to take the day off from work and loose on my day's pay on top of this situation but Angel was very kind. He mentioned that I can go on my daily business without any worries, and the work will continue while I am gone and even hopefully completed by the time I return back home. Shortly after I left for work. Still the thoughts of leaving my home unattended was in my head. Well, when I arrived at work I concentrated on my work. During my lunch break. I phoned Angel to see how thing's were going. " GREAT" he mentioned. I was a bit relieved when I heard things were going on the right track. After my long day of work. I was headed home so I called Angel again to see how things were going and also if he wanted some coffee from Starbucks's because, I sure was ready for a large cup of coffee. When I arrived at my home. I walked downstairs to the basement "WOW". I was impressed by the quality of work and how neat this new tank-less heater looked. I gave Angel his coffee even though he did not want one. I chated a bit and then left him alone so he can get the work completed so I am able to take a shower tonight. Shortly thereafter Angel completed the installation.Then he came upstairs and opened all the little filters to all the faucets in the house. I was curious so I asked what was this for?. "Again" he very politely explained to me the reason. He mentioned that when the water to the home is interrupted at any point for a period of time as it was today. There are some pieces of dirt and other sediments that can get in the lines that clogs up the filters and restricts the flow from the faucets, unless you take them off prior to turning the water back on to flush out the water lines. I thought that was very impressive, someone going the extra step to do a preventative maintenance. After this was all done, we walked down to the new water in the basement. Angel walked me through every step possible to make sure I fully understand not only how to use this new water heater but also how to maintain and clean it once a year. I thought the maintaining part is not for me, because I thought it would be so complicated and involved, but Angel made it look very easy and explained me the complicated process in such a easy way that I feel very comfortable about doing the maintenance on my own when the time comes. Great Experience! with Angel at Dynamic Plumbing. I just arrived back late at in the evening from my business trip from New Jersey. Being wicked tired and exhausted all I wanted to do was, take a nice hot shower and hit the bed. When I turned my hot water on in the shower, It came warm for a few seconds and then started to become cooler and cooler. WOW!! Not what I was looking forward to. I quickly jumped out of the shower and went down to my basement to check to see if everything was ok with the water heater. As I stepped on to the carpeted flooring in the basement area, it felt damp as if you are stepping in a puddle of water. I was a bit unhappy at this moment, upon going into the room where the water heater was located. I was shocked to see that my water heater was leaking water all over the floor which was making it's way to the finished area in the basement. I tried calling a few local plumbing companies. No one answered their phones, so I left them the messages with my situation. After a few hours I received one call back from one of the messages that I left with the companies. He mentioned that it would be $495 dollars to come out and take a look and see what is needed to be done because it was after hours emergency service. It was a bit out of my budget, so I searched for other plumbers in the area. I was very surprised when, I contacted Dynamic Plumbing. The owner " Angel" answered the phone himself instead of a answering service. I explained Angel my disaster that I was in. He very politely asked me to listen and guided me over the phone on how to shut off the valve for the water heater so, it doesn't continue to fill and make further mess on the floor. I was unable to locate the valve that Angel was asking me to shut off. After being unable to receive the guidance over the phone. He asked me for my home address. After providing Angel with my address he said he will be here in 15-20 minutes. I continue to look for the valve in the mean-time, while waiting for him to arrive. As I was looking for the valve my doorbell rings. I was very surprised to see that he arrived so quickly. In matter of just a few minutes, Angel was able to find and shut the valve for the water heater. After turning the valve off he showed me where the valve was. He mentioned that this valve is supposed to be located near the water heater for an emergency to shut off the water supply to the water heater. After shutting of the water he helped out with his vacuum to clean the water around the area, and suggested to reach out to the professionals to properly have the place cleaned and dried to avoid mold. Thereafter he provided me with a quote to replace the water heater. He did not charge me anything to come out and also provided me with a very reasonable quote to complete the work. Due to my work schedule for the following morning. I was unable to stay home.So I left Angel the keys to my home. Angel completed the plumbing work and then contacted me to inform of the status. When I returned home from work, first thing I did was to check the hot water in my kitchen sink. I was very happy to get the hot water back. Then I walked downstairs to the water heater area. The complete installation looked GREAT, very clean and shinny new copper pipes, and he also installed not one but two valves for the water heater for the hot and the cold water at no additional charge. I called to thank him for the quick response, all the help and the outstanding plumbing work that he had completed at my home. I am having an addition added on to my house. The carpenters on the job are great they are fast and neat, only one bad thing that happened during the process. One of the carpenters accidentally shot a nail through the wall that hit my water line behind the finished wall. It was a few hours before it became noticeable. My daughter was trying to grab her toys from the toy room and she came running to me and said.daddy daddy there is water coming on the wall. Well at 1st I did not believe her because she is only 5 and she has tendency of just trying to get attention, but when she repeatedly said daddy there is water on the wall two or three more times. Then I had to get up and go check it out. When I got to the toy room. I was pissed off and frustrated by what I was looking at. This was the same side of the house where the addition is being added on to. I ran around looking to find the water shut-off.. I could not find the valve to shut off the water. Rushing through and trying to contact a plumber so I don't have a flood in my house. I contacted one company and they said they can not get anyone out to my house until later in the evening and there is an after hours emergency charge. I did not care about the emergency charge so much as I needed someone NOW... I called Dynamic Plumbing next. I spoke to Angel. He was very polite and understanding over the phone. After explaining my situation to him. He mentioned that he is on another call at this time but he will walk me through to locate the water shut off in my house to prevent further damage. He guided me over the phone to where the shut off to the water was. Well.. I have to give Angel "two thumbs up" He walked me through over the phone to locate the valve which was hidden in the corner that I could never have found even if I had spent hours looking for. After shutting of the valve he asked me to open all faucets in the house to take pressure of the damaged piping. After I had done everything that was instructed to me, Angel mentioned that he will come to my house after finishing up with the customer who he was working with. Well shortly after my door bell rang and there he was..Angel mentioned to me that be prepared to open up some walls or ceilings in order to locate the leak or leaks. Angel worked very quickly to locate the piping that was damaged. Not only he was very careful about cutting only the area that is needed but also kept the mess to very minimum by laying all these painter's cloths all over the floor to avoid debris going on my carpeting. After locating the leak he called me over to show me the damaged pipe, before making the repair. Then he cut the section of pipe for me to show it to my carpenter's. Finally he completed the repair by welding new pipe in place. After he was done making the repairs then he turned the water on to the house and rechecked for any other possible leaks, but luckily this was it. Now my wife and I will have fun cleaning the mess for next few days. I have to admit now that there are plumber's out there who will go the extra step to get situations as mine resolved before a major disaster occurs.. We recently relocated from California and moved to our new home, and the previous owner had not kept the plumbing up to date. Although our home inspector did mentioned during our home inspection that the plumbing work has to be repaired and replaced after we purchase the home. Our neighbor had worked with Dynamic Plumbing not too long ago, so we called them to come in and give us an estimate on the plumbing work. We were quiet surprise, they do not charge to provide estimates even with the high cost of gas nowadays, unlike some other plumbers that we have hired in the past at our previous home. From the initial phone call to our first meeting Angel was prompt, courteous and seemed very knowledgeable. After visiting our home and going over the work that was needed to be completed, we walked down to the basement to determine a cost effective solution to bring new plumbing upstairs to where it was needed. When we arrived in our basement, We noticed a large puddle of water by our hot water heater. We really were not in a position for any new surprises after just spending all our savings for the purchase of our new home. My husband and were panicking because now this is an additional expense that we have to deal with. Angel politely asked my husband and me to calm down and not to worry. Then Angel went on his phone and checked to see if our water heater was under warranty. "Thank God" it was still under the warranty. I just had a wonderful experience working with Angel from Dynamic Plumbing. My toilet which was years old was not only not flushing properly but also the water kept on running throughout day and night. I found Dynamic Plumbing on Craig's List, because I am a shopper and I always try to find the most for my dollar. I emailed him with the list of my problems that I was having with my toilet. I was surprised to receive a response back in minutes after sending the email. Shortly after I received the phone call from Angel to discuss my situation and to schedule an appointment. Being a nurse and working odd hours. I do not have a set schedule. It was extremely tough to set a time for the appointment during the day. Never minding my work schedule, Angel promised to make the appointment for a day and time that would fit my hectic work schedule. Angel scheduled the appointment for the late evening to fit my schedule. He arrived on time as we discussed. He seemed very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I showed Angel all the issues that I was facing with my toilet. After going over my list of TO DO'S. Angel proposed a solution to fix the problems. I was extremely impressed with how much time Angel spent explaining the complete process to me. I am a nurse and my husband is in the marines and we are very seldom home to learn plumbing. I have absolutely no knowledge of any sort of home repairs, so I get frustrated very quickly. After the completion of work he once again walked me through on how to properly maintain my new toilet and it's dual flush features. Which I had no clue about before. I have a pleasure to write a review for Dynamic Plumbing for the outstanding work that was performed by Angel. Shortly after arriving back from work late Friday afternoon, I found that my kitchen sink drain was leaking. Unfortunately my roommate was not aware of this situation and had she had already left for work. I emptied the cabinet area under the sink to check and see where it was leaking. Unfortunately with all the mess below the sink and the smell I chose not to even get involved. I called local plumber's in the area, some didn't returned my call and the other's had a ridiculously high after hours rates which was out of my budget. I had also left a message for Dynamic Plumbing while contacting the plumber's. I received a call back from Angel at Dynamic Plumbing in just under an hour or so. He was very polite and courteous over the phone. He first carefully listened, while I explained my plumbing problem and then explained to me the process and the pricing involved. The price sounded very reasonable compare to the other pricing that I have received. I scheduled the appointment to have the plumber come out to my Condo to look at the leaking kitchen sink drain. Angel arrived a few minutes before our scheduled appointment time. Again, he was very polite, informative and knowledgeable. He also wore covering on his shoes to avoid getting my floors dirty. Which, I was a bit surprised about, because I usually don't see people taking extra care to avoid having someone else's floor's dirty. I am honor to write in regarding the professional, honest plumbing service I have just received from dynamic plumbing. We were doing small remodeling work in our new home that we just moved in just a short time ago. We were quiet informed by the home inspector that the plumbing in this home will need to updated at some point. Just because we prioritized and spent the savings on other renovations in the house, therefore we were not yet ready for a plumbing renovation at this time. Well !! what you know, I tried to play plumber and tried to replace my own garbage disposer. It seemed easy but it sure didn't get completed the proper way. Just as we turned the water on to the sink. It started to pour in every direction. I quickly shut the faucet off and cleaned up the mess. At this point I realized that I need a plumber. Then I jumped on my laptop to search for a local plumber. I went on Craig's list and I found dynamic plumbing. I reached out to them. the plumber answered the phone. He was very professional and courteous and listened very carefully what I had to explain. After I was done explaining the plumbing issue at my house. He went over the charges upfront. It seemed very reasonable because I have used multiple different plumbing companies in the past and I can bet that their prices were alot higher. A few months ago we had our bathroom remodeled. We used a contractor we worked with for several years on other home improvement projects. During the re-model our shower pipes and a new shower unit was installed. Upon completion of the work, the hot water from the shower did not work. We informed the contractor of this issue from day one, as we continued to go back and forth on the problem. The contractor never returned to fix the problem and we went for more than 6 weeks with no hot water. Finally, we decided to move on, as we could not continue with cold showers. We began searching for a plumber and ran across Dynamic Plumbing Heating & Gas Fitting. We loved the reviews that we had read online, so we called and spoke with Angel. We explained our problem to him and he told us what he thought was wrong. Within a couple of days he came to our home and identified the problem. Just writing to thank Angel at Dynamic Plumbing, for his quick response to for my plumbing issue in my condo. I received a call from my neighbor downstairs telling me that there is a leak coming in their bedroom ceiling from above, which was the bathroom in my unit. I have recently bought this condo and was not aware of any plumbing issues neither it had come up in my home inspection. Well" said that. I looked up plumbers in the area and called around for prices. Everyone wanted to charge a fee to come out and look at the situation. I then tried Dynamic Plumbing. I spoke with Angel. I met Angel at a Dunkin Donut's while waiting in line for my coffee. I am very happy that I had met him, because I just purchased my new home and Instead of a home inspector for the plumbing inspection. I used Angel from Dynamic Plumbing. Angel walked through the entire home with me and pointed out things that were not up to the plumbing code and also the things that could use minor repairs prior to moving into the home. He also showed me cracks in my sewer piping that needed to be addressed in case of a back-up in my drain system in the house. Well, after purchasing the home. I contacted Angel to schedule a time to go over the work that was needed to be completed. After our meeting Angel and I agreed to get the most important issues resolved and wait on the other repairs until later date, so I have additional money saved up due to other expenses going on in my life after purchasing the home. If you need a plumber in metro Boston, look no further. I am a trustee in a 10 unit condo building in Somerville and have been dealing with overpriced, underperforming trade cartels for a decade. When I find a gem, I like to give them all of our business and shout it to the world... and our building found a plumbing diamond in Angel's group. One of our gas water heaters went down in the basement and a condo owner called for a random plumber to service. Upon seeing the basement and doing a quick survey, that plumber (correctly) alerted the trustees to a major code violation for lack of ventilation for all the gas furnaces and heaters down there (in a 100 year old building). He also quoted a project to construct ducting to bring to code for $15K. We always bid out large projects and called our usual plumber who came in at $10K. Lucky for us we shoot for min 3 bids and we randomly called Dynamic Plumbing. Angel and his team were unusually responsive and immediately came out for a survey, followed by a call to the Somerville inspector. Angel had a verbal approval on his fix from the inspector (when you meet Angel, you can tell he values good relationships). Their quote came in less than a third of the price. We were shocked at the discrepancy but proceeded because of Angel's responsiveness. Needless to say the project was completed on time and at budget and passed inspection. Can't thank enough... What a life saver "really an Angel" . On the long weekend,we got up and find out that we had no hot water in the bathroom. My husband went down to check and see what was the issue. No.. my husband is not a plumber but he definitely tries hard to fix lots of things around the house. When he went downstairs he finds that our water heater has failed and leaked all over the flooring in our family room. So, I called Dynamic Plumbing and left a message regarding our emergency. Angel is a great plumber and the most honest and caring contractor that we have ever worked with. Our kitchen sink fell off the counter and after we tried contacting several contractors without any success, our friend recommended us to call Angel as she had a great experience with him as a contractor for her gas stove just one day before. He picked up the phone right away and spent a good 30 min trying to understand our problem. We then sent him the pictures and he could tell us right away what he could do and how much it cost. He was then heading over to our house that night to properly diagnose the problem and offer us a temporary solution for the sink while we were waiting for the marble counter top person whom he also recommended to come and mount our sink back. He then came back two days later (again after his working hour) to hook all the pipes back and explained to us how everything worked and what we could do to improve our kitchen setup.
