When I cried because of anxiety, the woman (who had apparently been working for 20 years) was very understanding and said I was doing an excellent job. When I apologized for crying loudly, she said not to worry because "crying is language" and said that she had experienced all sorts of things worse than crying (vomit, urine, etc). She was very gentle and even though I still dislike needles, the times I have been here have been good, as far as getting blood drawn goes. Anyone with needle anxiety who needs to have blood drawn should go here for an easy, gentle experience. Edit: they do play Christian music there and have a bible and some Christian magazines. The dude will turn off the music for you while you get your blood drawn, which is nice, but be aware that it is super religious over there. It's still a friendly place though.

My anxiety was in overdrive, so they had me lie down. There were two techs working together, so it went fairly quickly. They even told me after it was done, to just take it easy, and eat something and drink water as soon as I was able. They were awesome, and I really appreciated their professionalism and kindness.

She acted like we were an inconvenience to her. She tried to get me to wait for all the appointments before taking my sample. I then had to explain to her in front of the entire waiting room that my sample is a frozen stool sample and I didn't want it to thaw. At that point she finally took it and I was able to go. If she is that bothered by a sample drop off I genuinely cannot imagine being a patient of hers. If you have to use quest, pick a different location.

I'm at a dead end and I'm sick of having to take massive amounts of Diltiazem & Metoprolol & sometimes it doesn't work. My blood is like water and the meds exhaust me. I'm gonna get a referral to Barnes in St Louis if they cannot figure this out! I want to try a medication that's been around for about 6 years. It's called Ivabradine. However, it's not covered by insurance in America. I will be ordering it from an accredited pharmacy in Canada if it's still unavailable in America. The FDA is responsible for screwing Taxpayers over with the wait times on medication approvals. They have their heads up their asses!! They approve drugs that kill people instead of drugs that help people including cancer treatments! They torture animals to test the drugs & they wonder why the effects are different in humans! Because we are not animals! They are overpaid bureaucrats & Politicians!
