This is the same guy that promised me he's been doing business in my town for years and cares so much about his reputation that he would never screw me over and yet that's exactly what he did. We even had a discussion about just being honest since I've had so much trouble finding someone right now to do work and he agreed that honesty is the best policy. He told me he had openings in August in September and he would never just ditch me and then he did the exact thing he said he wouldn't do. Red flag!!! Do not use him since he's is obviously deceptive and does not hold to his promises or keep his word.

He has great expertise, and is an incredibly hard worker. He is easy to work with and worked really well with our designer and other contractors. We brought Frank on early to be a part of the planning process to assure that the design and overall concept for the kitchen was feasible. Frank had some great ideas and educated us on brands to look at and which to steer clear of. We changed some of the concepts of the kitchen design and even had to bump out a wall to accommodate the new AC heat pump unit. Frank just went with the flow. I really liked the preciseness of his work and how he always left our house clean when he finished for the day. Frank gave us a few special touch ideas that really made the project pop. We couldn't be happier or have picked a greater Contractor. Highly recommend him for your next project.

I hired Rick to replace the subflooring and tub in my bathroom, but ended up hiring him to tile the bathroom floor, fix the flashing on my chimney, install basement windows, replace a rotten deck step, and put in a new hot water heater. He did a beautiful job with the bathroom remodel and all of my additional requests; I now have the bathroom I dreamed of! He was flexible when I asked him to complete additional tasks around my home, and pointed out improvements that I could make myself to keep my energy bills down. Rick walked me through the entire process, what I could expect, and how I could get the most value on my limited budget. His price was fair and I got a terrific value- he charged what he estimated. He was very responsive to my questions, kept my home clean, and did fantastic work. I don't think there's anything he can't do! Not only is Rick a fantastic contractor, but he's an exceptional person- he was unfailingly kind and good-humored, even when we hit challenges in my old home. He's a terrific guy and a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend him highly enough, and I won't make future improvements to my home without him.

Originally, my husband and I wanted to remodel both bathrooms in our house. However, when Jason…read morecame by for consultation, he advised that the guest bath needn't a remodel. Even though it'd be strictly cosmetic, we really appreciated a contractor's honesty instead of looking for any reasons to make a buck. Jason and his crew remodeled the upstairs bathroom and even though it took longer than anticipated (we own an old house-enough said), their professionalism and quality of work was fantastic. The guys finished the bathroom while we were out of the country and when we returned, they even waxed the floor and cleaned the house for us! I would definitely recommend Bernier Remodeling for both big (i.e. complete renovation) and small (i.e. just painting a room) jobs!

We hired Jason and his team to remodel the second-floor family bathroom in our 1970 colonial home,…read morewhich had last been updated in the early 1990s. After experiencing plumbing issues last year that caused water to seep from the bathtub on the second floor into our kitchen ceiling, we decided it was time for a bathroom remodel and contacted Jason. His team updated our basement a few years ago so we knew the quality and value we were getting for this project. Jason is a thorough and involved contractor. He recommended the best layout for the space and suggested opening a soffit to provide more room and improve ventilation for the shower/tub unit. Throughout the project, he or a team member was present to monitor and manage all aspects, from demolition, replumbing, and rewiring to the final placement of fixtures, ensuring everything met building standards and our satisfaction. He also addressed mold and water issues, using quality materials to prevent future problems. One suggestion for homeowners planning a remodel: make sure all products, fixtures, and tiles are ordered, delivered, and inspected before the project starts. We mistakenly waited to order the shower/tub unit until after the demolition, which led to a scramble for a timely delivery--only to find that the unit was damaged upon arrival. Thankfully, we managed to get another unit delivered and ready for the plumber when he arrived. Thank you to Jason and his team for guiding us through this process and helping us stay on track to complete the remodel within our timeline.

Of the 3, Building Concepts presented the most comprehensive proposal for a complete job. The owner, Jim Kirtopoulos, was always prompt, professional, innovative and realistic in his dealings with us. The Building Concepts proposal was not the low bidder but included everything required for a truly finished "turn key" project in contrast to the other Contractors who left flooring, finishing, HVAC, & electrical work, etc...up to us. Given some COVID19 supply chain delays, Jim was very flexible and forthright with the impact on the build schedule...suggesting some really great options based upon prompt availability. He designed a clever and very functional accommodation to the floor plan for an automatic "Doggie Door" with landing and ramp. His construction team and sub-contractors (Electrician/HVAC/Gutter & Downspouts) were all really good folks to deal with. We are very pleased with the completed 4 Seasons Room and highly recommend Jim Kirtopoulos & Building Concepts.
