I have gone to corporate owned dentists, like the one named after a ski resport town in Colorado... and it was a horrible sales pitch from the moment I sat in the chair. It was awful. College Avenue Dental is different. They only recommend oral hygiene extras if you need it. I never feel pressured to go into debt for my oral health. I am grateful to CAD for their punctuality. His office is 100% prepared with Covid measures (take temperature, masks, no waiting room). I was very worried about the oncoming pain of the procedure but I am not kidding when I tell you I DIDN'T FEEL A THING. He's an expert at administering local anesthetic. From the beginning, the woman I spoke with was rude and made me feel as though I was bothering her simply by asking questions.My understanding was that my appointment had been moved to August while everything was being handled. I was later told that I had missed an appointment in May and was charged a $50 no-show fee. I genuinely did not understand that I had a May appointment, because I believed I was scheduled for August.I called to discuss the charge and requested a receipt and an explanation. I ultimately paid the $50, but when I questioned the fee and asked whether it could be refunded, I was told it could not be.What bothered me most was how I was treated when I asked to speak with a supervisor. Instead of allowing me to explain my concern, the representative repeatedly talked over me and would not allow me to finish speaking. I felt dismissed and bullied rather than listened to.I understand that offices have policies and fees, but patients should still be treated with respect and given a clear explanation of appointments and charges. A simple disagreement over a fee should never result in a patient being spoken to disrespectfully.This experience left a very bad impression on me, and I hope the office addresses how patients are treated when they call with questions or concern

He listened to me and helped me come up with a plan for my teeth. Helping me to keep my teeth unlike what the other place wanted to do. We did a double root canal yesterday and today I have no pain! Smelled of disinfectant and bleach, which I think it's a great smell for a dentist office. The room was very clean! Dr Hurt came right in after my x-rays and we decided to do the root canal today. He communicated the entire process. Made sure I didn't have questions and he was finished before I knew it. I felt I pain at all!!!! Highly recommend him! Wonderful experience
