I saw a post on Facebook that pictured a home with exactly what I wanted done, and S&N had done the work. So I called them. Sam came over and looked at the job, and gave me an estimate, which was fair, for the work. Like I said, this was a difficult project, and ran into a number of snags. As S&N proceeded with the demolition of the deck, there was a water pipe that needed to be rerouted, a gas pipe that needed to be removed, multiple electrical wirings that needed to be removed, and the main power cables that ultimately had to be replaced. S&N was great in working with all of these setbacks as we got them done, and finally got to the business of placing the patio pavers. Sam had great recommendations for how this should be done, and decided on two occasions that what was planned was not going to work. He always was up front and communicative about any changes. Both times he had to tear up what had already been done, to then replace the work with what was going to work best. Over a 10 day period of time, working in cooperation, I finally had a great new paver patio. I just need to do some siding repair and landscaping. Sam, Nancy, and crew were great to work with, and I would surely recommend them for your 'hardscaping' work.

I reported Pave Master Paving to the Better Business Bureau for their disreputable and deceitful business practices. I also sued Pave Master Paving in NJ Superior Court and won a judgment for repayment of the deposit (copy of Order attached). Bobby, the owner of Pave Master Paving, in defiance of the order of the Court and in a rage on one of the few occasions he didn't hang up on me, promised that he will not return the deposit. According to the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, PaveMaster Paving, Inc. has been unlawfully operating without a state license since 3/31/2019, and therefore their offer to repair our driveway was in violation of the NJ Contractors Registration Act. Since discovering that Pave Master Paving has been illegally operating without a state license, the NJ Better Business Bureau has given them an F rating! So I will pursue the legal process to compel Pave Master Paving to repay the deposit. If you don't want to get tangled up in a mess like this, avoid this company!

If a design person cannot answer customer questions and gets overwhelmed then there's a real problem. After 4 weeks of working on a design that was for a pretty simple revamp, Valerie could still not get our floor plans right. The builder wrote to me to say that the measurements were still not correct. Save yourself time and energy and don't go here for your kitchen design. Seems all this person has time to do is go for "trainings" that don't appear to translate into work output. Poor communication about timelines and every inquiry was met with a defensive list of reasons about why she couldn't get to our project in a timely manner. Undoubtably the worst customer experience I've ever had.

After an exhaustive search I decided to hire Home Care Waterproofing. They proved to be wonderful. The work was meticulously done. The workers were professional and respectful and the owners of the business supervised the entire job. Asad and Mohammed were very responsive and made sure to accommodate to my timeline. They were also very patient with my parents. Because I cannot climb on top of the roof during the job, Asad even sent me progress pictures. The price was very reasonable. The owners were very honest. My father asked for extra aluminum drip edges around the small alcove and Home Care Waterproofing did it without extra cost. This is a family run business and they took great pride in providing the best customer experience available. It is rare to find such a great contractor. We are waiting for our first big rain and will post an update. So far everything looks beautiful!
