Within thirty minutes of walking into Earl's office I had a great understanding of my options and a newly written, very competitive policy. That was 2003. Over the years my policy got more expensive and last year Earl helped me change plan, more than halving the cost of my health insurance! Just had an extraordinary, very positive conversation with Earl Dworkin.We're trying to sort out Medigap options. Our current carrier's rates have continued to increase yearly, so were searching for alternatives. Gathered information from medicare.com that seemed to show less expensive options. Sent Earl an email--after his office hours on Saturday--asking for advice, expecting a call on Monday. But he called right after getting the email! We had an very informative discussion drawing on his up-to-date information about how the rates on medicare.com understate the actual prices once an insurer gathers all our details--sort of like teaser rates. He asked our current premiums--and told us that they were actually below the average for policies written in our area. He advised not to change carriers! Earl deciphered the letter the carrier sent me, then called its broker's line to get clarification. Service beyond what you would ever expect!!! I've been Earl Dworkins client for over 15 years. Most of the time I have not needed his assistance. However with the Affordable Care Act transition I received both an acceptance letter continuing my Blue Shield Policy and then a cancellation letter when their system autopay draft failed. After trying to get through to Blue Shield by phone to no luck, going through the call que to the payment module only to receive a busy signal, sign onto my online account with Blue Shield to make a payment with no luck, you can imagine how frustrated I was. I called Mr. Dworkin and he took the initiative to call Blue Shield on the brokers line and waited an hour and a half to get through BUT HE DID IT! He got the agent to call me to take the payment that Blue Shield had not drafted so I would be sure to have no lapse in coverage. This is what I call service!!!! Gold star Dworkin Insurance!
