I live in South Carolina but heard about fibroblasting from a friend in California. I started researching but I couldn't find any places near me that did it, but my cousin found a place near her in Florida that does. I filled out a consultation form and sent pictures of my forehead and the bags under my eyes. I had to fill out some paperwork for my medical history and then I was able to book an appointment. The girl that worked on me was named Holly. She told me exactly what I needed to do to be prepared for my appointment. She also told me what to expect during treatment and after. I got a bag with the products I needed for aftercare and instructions, plus they are very responsive to messages if you have questions. Also, if you don't really understand fibroblasting and you have a lot of questions, there is an ebook on their website you can download for free that tells you everything! It's got all the science stuff that explains how it works, plus it tells you what to expect, and who can't get fibroblasting (like for medical reasons). So, to cover the things people usually want to know. 1. Pain - They put numbing cream on you so for the most part you don't feel much. Every once in awhile there was a zap that I could feel. Felt like a bee sting and the pain only lasted a second. For about 24 hours after it felt like a mild sunburn where the skin feels dry and tight. After that I couldn't feel it. The only negative experience I had was the swelling. Holly told me to try and sleep propped up for the first night or two. I told her I can't sleep like that so she warned me I would have some swelling. She was right! For about 3 or 4 days after it looked like I got punched in the face. It didn't hurt, it was just swollen. 2. Cost - Price depends on what you're having done. I compared notes with my cousin who gets Botox on her forehead. Fibroblast results last for years and are natural looking. My cousin has to get Botox a couple of times a year and her forehead is basically frozen. My treatment for forehead and eyes cost the same as two of her Botox forehead treatments. For as long as mine is supposed to last (3-5 years) she's probably going to have to go 6-12 times. So as long as my results are what I'm hoping for I think the cost part is a no-brainer. I'll post an update in 12 weeks and say what my final results were. read more
