I called Dutch Iris to order 6 roses, wrapped in paper, for my mother, as I drove from staying with my father, who just had a triple bypass and caring for my stepmom who has dementia in Burke Co, NC. I was enroute to my mother's house in Johnston Co, NC, to be with her through her double mastectomy. I live in Erwin so I have ordered from this flower store, but not in many years. I picked up the roses, wrapped with a bow, and arranged them in a vase immediately upon arriving to my mother's house. Upon closer inspection, I saw the backs of the leaves were covered in aphid nests and within 12 hours, 2 of the 6 rose heads had dropped petals and were bent over. By dinner, a mere 18 hrs after purchase, a 3rd rose was dropping petals and bent over. Essentially, I paid $50 dollars for 3 roses from Dutch Iris for my hospitalized mother. Thanks for nothing Dutxh Iris. I will never recommend anyone to purchase from your store and I will certainly never return. read more

Worst experience ever. Totally unprofessional and rude! There were several problems including missing flower arrangements, table tops, chairs being switched without notification, and the most important thing didn't happen at all! This business sucks, and when you bring up any problems they WILL dismiss your concerns with attitude and profanity. They are lucky it's not worth my time in court. I Will never do business with them again, and I will highly recommend that nobody does business with them either. read more

My daughter received a Valentine arrangement of roses, from her boyfriend. It was the most pathetic vase of "flowers" I have ever seen. The filler looked like weeds someone picked out of their woods and it had this huge green thing, looked almost like brussel sprouts sticking out the center. The next day, all the filler was dead, as the stems weren't even close to being in the water. I don't know how much he paid for it, but if it was more than $5 he was ripped off. read more

I live in hawaii. I called Dutch Iris on yesterday and requested them to deliver my mother a dozen of roses. Very professional staff that answered the call and attentive to my request. She stated that they could deliver them the next morning. They delivered the roses and a box of chocolates the next day, and they were beautiful. She tied a nice bow on them, and they were beautifully arranged. I definitely will be using this florist again. read more

Absolutely STUNNING flower arrangements are made by this florist for funerals and weddings!!!! Have used them many times and always get remarkable comments about our arrangements sent to funerals every time! Never fails!
