My fiancé and I wanted a small wedding, particularly with COVID still looming, but flowers are a big part of my background and, for us, a small wedding did not mean minimal flowers. Our wedding venue, a train car at Game Train USA, was already beautifully appointed with a Victorian, garden theme, but being a bit non-traditional as a wedding venue we knew we would need creative help turning it into the perfect location for our ceremony and brunch. I took to Google and Yelp in search of a florist that was known for their creativity. When I came across reviews for Nancy, I had a feeling she would be "the one" for us. We met Nancy at Game Train for the first time and after spending just an hour with her touring the venue and discussing our ideas we knew we'd found our creative visionary. Not only were we impressed with Nancy's ideas, she was absolutely lovely throughout the entire process. Nancy asked that I send her my inspirational photos, which she incorporated into her vision, so when she created a proposal for us, it was very much in line with what we wanted. Seeing the flowers for the first time on my wedding day was enough to start a flood of happy tears. Gorgeous seems like such an inadequate adjective. My bouquet was stunning; beautifully made with the most amazing garden roses, specially sourced by Nancy. She also created two lush, floral archways, large urns of greens and florals, and florals for the chandeliers and serving tables. After our wedding was over and the celebrations finished, Nancy came back and collected everything from the venue so that we did not have to worry with anything except leaving for our honeymoon. We didn't just have a florist for our wedding. We had a partner who was invested as much as we were, and who never let us down. If you're looking for the same, look no further. You've already found the best!

As a single mom, I was paying for someone to really assist me in making this a special day. Instead I paid a lot of money for poor service and someone who actually added to our worry and problems. I do not recommend Table 6 productions for your special day - big waste of money! You have to ask yourself, how many negative reviews has this company had removed as a result of threats and bullying? I deal with a lot of vendors and I knew my same-day request (on a Saturday no less) would probably be met with cranky "not possible in the timeline" responses. Instead, I met Jolene on the other end of the phone. What a warm and positive person! She immediately took on my problems with grace and alacrity. She not only solved the heaters and blanket asks but also added so many details that I would never have thought of. Baskets to hold the blankets. Blankets tied with twine. Additional black napkins in case someone was wearing a dark outfit. Found local wines and beers. Just extremely thoughtful in everything she did. My event was not big or expensive. I'm from out of town so I'm probably not a repeat client (wish I could be!). And I had a very last minute weekend request. And Jolene pulled through 110%. I initially had a great experience with Jaime Langer and genuinely believe she has strong design…read moreskills. However, my overall experience with her ended in deep disappointment and frustration. If you choose to work with her, do not let her refer you to Hummingbird HRD (Crystal and Brian Mansanares), as that is where everything unraveled. Jaime first helped me after a Christmas morning plumbing disaster, and at the outset, she was fantastic--quick to respond, knowledgeable, and actively engaged in creating thoughtful layouts. Because things seemed to be going well, we also hired her for additional design work in our kitchen and living room. But when she referred us to Hummingbird as the general contractor, she stepped away entirely, leaving us in the hands of an inexperienced team that led to an overpriced, incomplete, and poorly executed renovation. Where Things Went Wrong Jaime and Crystal turned out to be personal friends rather than longtime collaborators, and our home was essentially a "guinea pig project"--a fact Jaime admitted only after things had gone terribly wrong. The staggering lack of professionalism from Hummingbird resulted in months of stress, wasted money, and a home that remains unfinished to this day. After Crystal declared the project "done" (despite glaringly poor workmanship), I asked Jaime to see the state of things herself. She agreed with me that the quality was unacceptable and even apologized for how badly things had turned out. She admitted that Crystal lacked the necessary experience and recognized that we had been unintentionally used as a test project. To make matters worse, she also told me, "Wow, I didn't realize you were so detail-oriented--I would feel exactly the same." As if they thought they could get away with subpar work and I wouldn't notice--truly insulting. Jaime's Final Disappointing Choice To her credit, Jaime convinced Crystal and Brian to attempt to fix their mess, but she ultimately abandoned the project. Despite personally acknowledging all the flaws, she later sent me a completely contradictory statement: "I have every faith in Hummingbird completing the project as promised, and overall, I believe they have done an exceptional job." This project was supposed to take 4-6 weeks starting in March--it was still dragging on in November, at which point I cut ties entirely because it was no longer worth the emotional toll. To this day, our home remains unfinished and cheap-looking, a painful reminder of the stress and financial loss we endured. What We Actually Got for Jaime's Fees After paying her design fees for both the bathroom and kitchen/living room, all we truly received was: * Layout options * A recommendation for Hummingbird (which proved disastrous) * Help selecting a kitchen table and rug Had we gone with a different general contractor, I might be writing a glowing five-star review. Unfortunately, given how this played out, I cannot recommend Jaime Langer at all.
