This piece was designed for my wife and Monika was really invested in making it perfect for us. Knowing nothing about astrology, Monika designed the background off my wife's chart with me before starting the piece. Atmosphere of the shop is great; Monika is super personable and is excellent at her craft. The piece turned out amazing and is all due to Monika's attention to detail and preparation. Pricing is more than fair for the quality of work. 10/10 definitely recommend for your next tattoo and I will be returning for another piece in the future with her! Johnny's tattoos are amazing the ones he did back in 2014 and even before are still looking amazing and I get complimented still to this day on them. I'm not sure when I was 18 what made me choose to college avenue inkers I'm going there one time and got a semi okay tattoo I'm a guy who didn't work for them for very long. At the time the shop was on by hammer and Johnny. The very next time I came in to get a larger tattoo the tattoo was done by Johnny himself. And bingo there it was my life long tattoo artist. I don't feel like Johnny and I have gotten that old even though I haven't seen him in too many years. When I was 18 a hammer and Johnny were both very quiet guys but very cool to me and Johnny only took good care of me when I worked for him and as a customer as well. I can't say anything more Stellar about Johnny if I tried he's truly an amazing man who has always kept his word. Sincerely, Bernadette

Chris got a SD with a Chargers logo on top of it with some blue in it. Eddie was great with setting up an appointment for me and Chris! It took him about 30 minutes to draw both out which was great timing. He got mine done within 30 minutes. It was perfectly positioned and I loved it! Eddie is really light handed compared to some others so it's nice since it decreased the pain a lot. It's been two years and my tattoo is still in great shape. Chris' still has really great color and all for a great price too! I definitely recommend Eddie for traditional style tattoos. He was fun to talk to and fast. The lines are all really clean as well. I recommend coming to this shop! This shop is on Broadway and 2nd street in the northeast side of El Cajon. There isn't a private parking lot for it, but street parking is available! He was really informative on how to keep the tattoo clean and make it heal properly.
