Luckily she got off the next exit and got to a small hotel in Alamont, IL. She called me frantic and we found Interstate 70 Towing on Google! I called them up, around midnight. Richard answered. I told him what happened and he asked if she was at a safe place for the night! How thoughtful! I said yes, and he told me to email him all the info and he would send a truck to get her and the vehicle and get her to Effingham to their new facility to see what they could do! I don't know if this is why, but he sent his sweet wife in the tow truck to get my daughter, and that made such a big difference. She was so scared and had already had a scare with some men following her on the interstate going to Indiana, so she was really on edge. They were wonderful to her, and her phone service didn't have signal there, so I called to check on her and he said she was just fine, visiting with him and his wife, like she was their own! Made my heart feel good and my faith in humanity greatly restored! They had her fixed up and on the road in no time at all! So blessed and thankful for these wonderful people! If we are ever out that way, we will definitely stop by and give some big hugs for making our daughter feel safe and secure so far from home! Thank you again! They are a above beyond service company, and when our insurance failed to provide us with a tow they gladly took great care of us. The driver Joey was amazing to my wife, my service dog, and myself, and that's a understatement in my opinion. They arrived fast, they tried several different things to get it back on the road, and they towed us into the dealership and dropped us off at the hotel. And for the low costs at midnight on a Monday night, they're definitely worth using. 10+ stars for their speed, courtesy, and amazing recommendations for a great place to stay.

The owner Dee Dee Muncy and her Bear Boyfriend picked us up at the "station" (it's a 24 hour pilot gas station and McDonalds combined). We rode back in a Kitty Kat, almost like a limo; very plush in the back seat. They drove us to their lot. Now let me tell ya, even though this is a buy here pay here place, IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT. They do NOT get cars from auctions. They have personal buyers that they deal with. Kinda classy to me. Well anyhoo, they have some really nice cars on the lot and there was our new child. My partner took it for a test drive while I stayed behind and already knew we were driving back to Chicago in it Saturday evening. And yes, we did!! If you go to their website, it'll show you the cars she has. Among the other clean and sharp vehicles, PLEASE check out the double black Chevy SS Turbocharged Monte Carlo with the spoiler, mag wheels and sunroof. If we had enough money we would have bought that too!! It's so awesome!! Dee Dee runs a VERY clean dealership. She and her Bear Boyfriend are super duper friendly. She was so worried that we had traveled over 200 miles and weren't going to like this car. We got the car for a song!!! And it's beautiful inside and out. It was EXACTLY what we wanted!!! It's easier to do cash really when you deal with her because if you do, she'll be so kewl and knock a few dollars off of it for ya!! There's no kind of pressure tactics, they don't follow you around the lot. She sets it all up and your plates/title will be mailed to you. And if you want something she doesn't have, she has a locator service that'll find it for ya. She also operates her own towing company. It was an auto buying experience that we truly treasured. We already decided when we need another vehicle, we'll take that bus trip down to her. We were not scared to get on the road and drive down I-57 in our growly monster. Her cars are completely reliable. I know it's a long way to go to buy an vehicle but you'll be so glad you did, and you won't leave their dealership all bummed out/disappointed. Unlike many other places, what you see on their website...that's EXACTLY the way it looks in person. Arm yourself with some cash for the transaction and get there!!
