I usually go through the drive-thru, and it's always quick and friendly service. The coffee is consistently good, and my go-to drinks always taste the same no matter which location I stop at. Fun fact: This coffee drive-thru came up as a Yelp search result for "healthy food" in Farmington, New Mexico, below a Mexican joint, an Olive Garden, a brewery and Pizza 9. Apparently the algorithm made the connection because I liked salads. Sure enough, there were salads. We ordered two. I believe my wife's quote was "This is a salad that kind of goes against the idea of what a salad should be. It's loaded with, like, bacon and cheese. Okay then." If you're looking for salads, not to mention a smidge of breakfast and lunch bites, Durango Joes abides. Other than that, this is your salvation if you're searching for local caffiene, sans Seattlebucks. It was pretty good coffee, served up by an incredibly outgoing personality, so please, support your local barista. And hey Joes, just a recommendation: consider an apostrophe. read more

I came here twice for coffee during a recent stay to Farmington. It's drive thru style, so don't expect an interior or wireless, but do expect getting your coffee fairly quickly. I think I had a cappuccino one morning and a mocha the other, both were good and had enough caffeine to help me through the day. The prices are reasonable, I think a bit cheaper than Starbucks and other chains. read more

Horrible service!! All I wanted was a 24oz black coffee and several minutes after it was poured I still hadn't received my coffee. Instead both girls working were working on one single order instead. I've noticed this at every Durango Joes I've tried. I'll drink gas station coffee before I'll come back. The service (or lack of rather) is abysmal and the coffee isn't even that great. Sadly the only competition in this town is Starbucks and even though their coffee isn't all that great either at least their service is good. I'd recommend them over Durango Joes any day. read more

I stop by here for work two or three times a month and it is the perfect marriage of a hipster coffee place in a small town. The workers have 'Star Shots' portraits of themselves which I think is hilarious - but they are always nice and seem like they enjoy serving cups of Joe at 6AM which you don't always see going thru a Starbucks drive thru. It was nice that the Barista remembered my visit last month, when I paid with cash she said, "didn't I get you the Durango Joe's Card last time?" The staff is always kind and courteous. Like today, I ordered a coffee in the drive through and had to wait just a little bit. The barista came and said sorry about the wait. The coffee,lattes and smoothies are hands down the best in town. The baristas are friendly and professional. Like all coffee shops they learn towards the pricey end of the scale, but for a locally owned and operated chain that roasts their own fair trade beans I think it's a bargain. If you are driving thru Farmington and need a coffee fix this is the place. read more

Let me just start by saying I love the Durango Joe's franchise, they have awesome, super strong coffee that always gives me that extra jolt that I need. That being said, I stopped at this location this afternoon with my mom and the service left quite a bit to be desired. I gave my order to the man who was working, I didn't get his name, he took my order and went about making it but didn't even ask if my mom wanted to order for herself and all but ignored her until the woman who was working went to hand her my coffee through the window and take payment. Then my mom finally got her order in. Nonetheless, I just thought it was a little rude and dismissive. read more

The customer service here is off the charts good. They have a great team and the different shops are all nice and comfortable. My low rating is just for one thing: all of the drinks are bitter. I rarely go there because of this but if I am with another person that wants to go there I give in and order. Today I got a hot chocolate, which I thought didn't have coffee, and it is still so bitter. What is that from? I thought it was from the coffee but I guess not. It's been a while since i saw a decent coffee shop. I can really dig this place. Maybe it was finding a good triple shot cappuchino after a hard night of partying, but this place hit the spot. Love the friendliness of this place. It seems like they have a staff that stays around for awhile so they know you by your name and usually know your usual drink of choice. They ask about my dog when she is not with me and when she is they have a treat for her. Love the home town feel. Oh ya, the coffees and burritos are great!
