Dura Guard resealed my travertine lanai on March 18, 2024. They talked me into getting the shark grip and said that I would not be able to see it. The shark grip and sand were very obvious in several places and it is under the sealer so it cannot be swept away. They also took the paint off on several of my drains. I called about the problems and they said send photos. I did. They never responded and I had to call several times before they finally set up a time to come back on April 18. They pressure washed with water which spread the shark grip out but it did not solve the problem. In some ways, they made it worse because it covered more area. I called again and they said send photos. I did and they did not contact me for over a month. I called again on 6/3/24 and they said once again to send photos. I did. It's been over two weeks this time and they still have not contacted me. I didn't expect for them to call or come out to fix the problem in just a few days. But when weeks and sometimes over a month goes by with no contact, that is unacceptable. Updated on 8/21/24: I wrote the above review after waiting for weeks for them to respond. Amazingly, they responded almost immediately after I posted the review and they set up a time to fix the problem. So, I took the above review down. They came out on July 25 but did not have "the right equipment" to do the job. The guys who came out said they would write their report (they agreed it was not done well) and that I would be contacted soon to set up a time for them to come back with the right equipment. It is now September 1(over a month) and they still have not called or emailed about fixing the problem. It has now been over 5 months (almost half a year) since they did the original sealing. Over that 5 month period, I have called numerous times and sent photos numerous time but they have never fixed the problem. So understand, if your job doesn't go well, you will have to send photos, you will wait for weeks with no response and possibly receive no final resolution. Very disrespectful and irritating. read more

from making my first call to Dura Guard Roofing till the completion of my roof all I can say they are the company and people to work with. I had 9 estimates for the same roof and just did not feel 100% comfortable moving forward. I had installed a very expensive paver driveway last year and decided to protect this investment by sealing the driveway. I researched several companies and after seeing my neighbors driveway being completed by Dura Guard I asked them for a quote. Within 48 hours I had a quote that was not the lowest price but the level of detail offered in their service gave me comfort that this would be a service that would last years while protecting my investment. Bryan,Kaleb,Joe and Jon arrived on time and immediately went over the project with me verifying exactly what the quote entailed. They worked from 10 to 6 never stopping and taking great care of making sure none of our surrounding landscaping was negatively impacted. When doing my lanai they brought along a pool cleaner to make sure any residual sand didn't clog up my filter in the pool which was a very nice surprise. All in all the project went very smoothly which for Florida is not always the case. I highly recommend Bryan and his crew if you should ever need your driveway protected. Bryan and Art cleaned our cage, cleaned and sealed our pavers for the first time (5 year old home). They came by to inspect the site and ask about any specific concerns we might have, the afternoon before. They brought 2 sets of equipment so they could work more efficiently. They arrived on time at 0700 and worked very effectively. They were very courteous and professional at all times, even making sure I had an opportunity to take our puppy out before they started sealing in front of the final door to the house. They cleaned up everything before they left. They answered all of my questions, asked me to inspect the cleaning before they started sealing, and were respectful of everything I asked of them. I began the process of sealing my pavers by seeking 3 quotes for my pool. Each quote was comparable within $100 or so with one sitting over $400 more. I chose Dura Guard for a few reasons: 1. The online quote process was seamless and accurate. 2. I spoke with three separate associates and each one always finished with, "We will ensure that we will continue to work till your 100% satisfied". 3. Will, our technician, walked us through the entire process. Made sure my wife was completely comfortable with the work being done. Provided thorough instructions in the safety of our dogs as well as care for the finished product. Had two people come out to clean and reseal the patio. They did a half-assed job cleaning and the sealed up all the remaining mold in the bricks. Then the owner tried gaslighting us and telling us it was "the color of the bricks and the sealant brings out the dark". But there is no black in the bricks, the black is black mold down in the porous brick that wasn't properly pressure washed out. As if we haven't lived here eight years and had it done in the past properly and know better. Now we will have to have someone out to remove all their sealant, actually clean the patio, and reseal it again. Thanks for nothing. My pool cage was looking a bit green and DuraGuard came through. Not only are the cleaners they use environmentally friendly, they were careful with all of the plants I have growing around the cage for privacy. The Dura-Guard staff did a wonderful job on the pool cage screens and in addition, Brian and Kyle cleaned up the concrete flooring around the pool as well. (which was not part of the quote).
