Wonderful repair. Next is the painting of the interior and had all baseboards, windowsills, doors, door jams and rooms painted according to my schedule with installation of carpet! Worked with my schedule so patiently and very congenial. All workers were very professional, friendly and respectful. Cleanup was meticulously done. We also had some outdoor work done by the painters to extend the life of the facia along the framework. Cannot express enough how pleased we are with the work and the professionalism provided. I feel I got a very great value for the work, the professionalism and the fact that everyone worked with my schedule. Can't beat that!! I found Raudy's Painting on a Google search. He came right out and bid a good price. We agreed to…read morestart the work on a Monday a couple weeks later. We drove to Ukiah to meet him at the property in the morning only to discover that he had not started work because I was not there? I worked on the property on and off for the following 8 hours and his crew was there for part of that time, completed some masking, then left in the early afternoon. He had sent a text that he was departing earlier than that but I could leave deposit with his workers, which became impossible when I returned to find that they were gone. So I sent message asking who we should make the check out to and where we should send it. He told me to make the check out to Raudy's Painting, but not where to send it. So when we finally finished working on the place and were driving out of town at about 6:30 I called him and he said I need to make a deposit, I replied that's why I had asked who we needed to make the check out to and where to send it, but he says he cannot receive mail because everyone will steal his mail so we need to send it by cash app or Zelle or something. The seller of this property is 82 years old and cannot even reply to text messages let alone figure out how to download cash app and Link it to a bank account. So I asked where to send the deposit and he replied that he can't work anymore without a deposit so I asked where to send a deposit and he answered that he can't work anymore without a deposit and then hung up on me. Working with unlicensed contractors is always sketch, but there are decent human beings in this world that know how to work hard and do a good job, but sometimes all the flags go up and you worry that you've really got one of the genuinely bad ones. However I cannot tell you if Raudy's Painting is any good or not because he cannot work without a deposit, and cannot tell you where to send it.

After calling around to six well-known drywall companies in Marin and not even getting a call/ email back, I was referred to Andre. After calling several of his references, we met to discuss what I was looking for. We talked about my goals and look for the project, material options, and he outlined the job, start date, and timeline. I received the estimate a few days later and was pleasantly surprised, so we set it up. He showed up on time, worked incredibly hard every day, and had a great attitude. Our 1950's home threw him some curveballs, but he handled them like a pro. We couldn't be happier with the way it all turned out. Give Andre a call-you will love the way your project turns out.
