I had a serious drainage issue on the side of my house that I noticed last April. I previously was led to believe the drainage line was blocked by the roots of a two year old tree. I postponed removing the tree until the Fall and I'm so glad I did. Long story short, I called Colton of Water Marshals based on his great 5 star reviews and shared a video of the issue with him. He came out that afternoon! He indicated he didn't think it was a root issue and that he needed to do some digging. After digging up the drainage field he quickly located the area that was fully blocked by dirt and debris. Colton showed me the area and how it was starting to drain properly using water from the hose to demonstrate. He came back today to finish the job. He also mowed my lawn, otrimmed some bushes and gave me some advice regarding the health of another tree in my yard. I really appreciate that he was able to fit me into his schedule. Colton charged a very reasonable fee for his expertise. He is responsive, knowledgeable professional and ethical. We used this business to install Hardscspe and landscaping in our small backyard. This included pavers, a fire pit, six outdoor lights, and a water feature. The installation portion went fairly smooth, although there were a few issues over all, but we were able to work through most of them. The two issues we continue to have with Mike, for more than six months, is the outdoor lighting and the water feature. I'll start with the lighting, which has not worked properly since it was installed. It has been 6 long months of constantly calling, texting, and even showing up at the office and STILL it has not been addressed and is not functioning as it was supposed to! Only 5 lights are working out of 6. The sixth light has never worked from day one! All we have gotten from him is one excuse after another. He promises to come and never shows up or calls. We are trusting people who keep our word and he clearly is not! He has lied to us over and over again. Next, is the water feature, which looks nothing like what was discussed and promised. The large rock where the water flows from was supposed to be 31/2 to 4 feet tall. It is only 21/2 feet high. Next, the water coming out from the top shoots out like a rooster tail, probably due to the drill hole not being drilled correctly. Lastly, there was to be a retention pond at the base. And guess what! We have no retention pond and Mike has done nothing to address this either. It is so disappointing that there are businesses out there that will gladly take your money but when it comes service and satisfaction afterwards, they are completely unresponsive! We are not difficult people to work with and we have been extremely patient in dealing with Mike and this company-- it has gotten us nowhere! We spent an enormous amount of money on this small space and and feel like we totally got took! I would not recommend this company for all the above reasons. Save yourself the disappointment and heartache that we now feel. So very sad and not at all what we had hoped for.
