Brand new appliances that dont work and are damaged. Freezer missing a wheel, freezer door baskets peeling off paint. Fridge door has screws poking out. Oven door forgot to install a hinge so when shipping tape came off the door slammed into my floor and dented the wood. Wall oven had a broken light sensor so the light was continuously on. I purchased 4 Jenair appliances and every single one was defective.

Sean was amazing he took so much time explaining to us the different brands and even went so far as to bring a washer I was considering to the back of the shop. He hooked it up and let it run a complete cycle so I could see and hear for myself how well it work. Upon delivery of my new washing machine I called Sean to let him know that I did not receive the hot and cold water hose. He explained that they are no longer included but said it was no big deal and he would drop it off for me. To my surprise Sean took time out of his day to go to home depot and purchase the hose free of charge to me and bring it to my house. In this day and age that level of service is unheard of. During the visit, the technician mentioned approximately $345 while discussing the option of ordering parts from the manufacturer. We understood that amount to refer to part replacement -- not the repair itself. At no point did we clearly understand that the dishwasher repair alone would total $345. The invoice was presented only after the work had already been completed. The technician arrived at approximately 6:00 PM (the appointment had been scheduled for 4:30 PM) and left at 7:14 PM. We were later told that two hours of labour were charged. In total, we were charged $345 for the dishwasher repair (1h10 min) and $80 for a very brief oven adjustment (5 min). The issue was the lack of clear and explicit confirmation of the final total before the repair proceeded. A repair expected to fall within the $150-$180 range became a $480 visit. If you choose to use Repair In Toronto, make sure you request the exact total in writing before approving any work.
