Super friendly service! The guys working even gave us a recommendation for a diner in the area for brunch.

We are back a little earlier this year! This time with my sister, the girls, and Bubs. This will be…read moreone of my forever favorite farms because you can have the kids play for free out by wooden tractors and trains. There is a store to purchase a bunch of pies and produce as well as stands where you can get some goodies like popcorn and cookies. The building all the way to the far right is accessible to the public and when you go in, it a spacious area with a bar. They are waiting on a liquor license so you can get your apple cider slushes and chill for a bit. Apples were available for picking but Bubs for tires by the time we walked over to U-pick. We will be back when the pumpkins are full grown for sure.

Such a fun place with a bit of everything in U-pick. We went a bit early this year (mid-September)…read moreand a lot of apples were roped off and not ripe. I sampled some of the available apples and they were not that sweet but I had already paid for the box ($67 for one peck) so I just picked the ones that were ok. I also picked lots of string beans, so it wasn't a complete waste. I was told it was a rip off but I enjoyed the experience. Fast forward a few days and now the apples are very sweet and crisp! Better than what you get at the supermarket for sure. The green beans are also fresh and not like the mushy bags you get at Trader Joe's. There's nothing like farm to table. They also have a nice bakery with excellent cheese bread and pies. Very fresh and warm when we bought them. The location is closer to Nassau and Manhattan than other farms on Long Island. We wanted to go to Milk Pail but it was a longer drive.

Every year I go to Lewins for Apple picking and Harbes for pumpkin picking (both highly…read morerecommended), but this year we accidently scheduled apple picking for a day that Lewins was closed so we decided to go here. BIG mistake! During September and October I realize I can easily buy apples and pumpkins at the Shoprite located a half of a block away from my house, but what I really want is the EXPERIENCE of picking them with my family. It's something we look forward to each fall and always enjoy. Well, so much for "always". Today's trip to the Davis Peach farm was how I imagine a convicted felons first trip must be to Rikers Island. You are greeted at the gate by large signs that basically tell you that you are only allowed the clothes on your back and the loved ones you arrived with. For those that can't read, a large man will remind you of the rules and then make your wife put her tiny purse back in the truck. He did thank us for complying with the rules, but in a way that felt disingenuous. Next up is the half asleep/half annoyed bag handler that forces you to front ten dollars before you set foot in the field. Not that you don't get the ten bucks put towards your purchase, but it's another example of how this place is run. With more rules than Seinfelds Soup Nazi.... The fields are covered with broken branches, garbage, and yellow police caution tape. But since I had already paid the ten dollar minimum, I just made the best of it and filled our bags and got the hell out of there. To be fair, the fruit towards the back was nice and ripe. It's just that to get there you have to deal with all of the hostility and regulations first. But that's what I get for not hitting yelp before I went!!!!

If you're a wings enthusiast, you should come here!! Or order takeout! The wings are PHENOMENAL!…read more This place is cranking out freshly made wings, wraps, sammies and more. It's a weird and wonderful little joint! Small dining area, eclectic decor like a memorabilia & holiday item garage sale. But it works. It's a vibe. End of the day, you're going to remember the FOOD. Anthony the owner greeted us so warmly. Order at counter. Freshly made food is brought to your table. Its all about the food! No bar. Limited drink selection of soda & water. Again..the wings are so damn good you will question everything you thought about good chicken wings. The variety & original flavors of wings, is your most difficult choice. But there's no wrong answers! The Everything But Da Bagel wings will change your life! Perfectly crisped wings, tender inside with a cream cheese sauce covered in Everything But the bagel seasoning. It's the wing you didn't know you were missing! My minus 1 star..menu could use some side dishes. It's a little pricy for what it is. Worth it, but pricy. I am sorry we waited so long to try this place. With football season around the corner, will be getting takeout wings from here for certain!

I opted for Honey Buffalo and Jack Daniels Teriyaki and both were excellent! It was Super Bowl Sunday and quite busy and all things, I screwed up my online order (I put in the wrong date) but Anthony got my order in quick and my wait time was minimal! I'm going back soon because I've heard so much about their in house smoked pastrami! Family friendly with great service!
