I have bought a two large boxes of donuts and a large box of coffee from here on 5 occasions the last two weeks as a family member is staying at St Charles and I'd like to treat the nurses. Each purchase has been $60. On the last occasion I as I have always asked for a larger cup of milk to accommodate all the coffee. The gentleman working always obliged. Today the female employee refused and said you only get a small milk with the box of joe. After spending $300 in two weeks at a Dunkin I would expect a little customer service. The extra milk would have cost maybe the owner $.15 cents. Needless to say, I will not give Dunkin any of my business and have informed all staff members that they may not get milk with their coffee due to this locations lack of customer service. My $150 a week will now move to another establishment as our stay will last another few months. read more

Let me start by saying that I am not a big fan of Starbucks. For me that are over rated. I more prefer Dunkin Donuts and in fact I have their App and try to utilize it when purchasing there. Although I singled out this particular DD it's only because I go here more frequently but my review is for DD's in general. Their service is slow, I mean really really slow and there's a good chance that the order will come out wrong so after being frustrated in the wait you should take an extra minute to check your order. The main problem, as I see it, is a language barrier. Most DD's seem to be owned and run by middle eastern people and that's fine by me, no prejudice here but please please try a little harder at communicating in English and teach your workers how to read the TelePrompTer for the order. This Dunkin's bathroom is absolutely disgusting. There is a sign on the mirror that states "this bathroom is cleaned and disinfected regularly", "our standards are your standards"... what a joke. This bathroom has not been cleaned in a really really long time. It makes me very concerned about their standards of cleanliness for food and beverages. It's a 50/50 chance I get a good cup of coffee at this location. I typically always order regular coffee with vanilla. Sometimes it's decent and sometimes it's terrible. I also order on mobile. To pick up mobile one needs to stand by the counter that is for Baskin' Robbins and is basically ignored. I wind up standing there for a bit until someone pays attention and this is when it's not busy. If it wasn't for the several other local DD's I would go back only getting coffee at Starbucks. I think Dunkin' Donuts beats Starbucks any day, and this particular location is both clean and accessible. There is ample parking, with a drive-thru for anyone who's in a rush. Ample parking is available for anyone who would prefer sitting down, and there's plenty of seating room inside too. The interior is well-lit, and smells like hot coffee. The service is patient, though a bit disinterested, and makes orders relatively quickly. I typically order a Sausage, Egg, & Cheese on a croissant, which runs around $6. Overall, definitely take Dunkin' Donuts over Starbucks, and this location is a great example of an effective DD. read more

Poor design of premises. If you make it through the minefield and get inside, you'll experience great service. The minefield is the terrible entrance. If you pull in too fast, you'll hit the telephone pole. The parking lot is very tight. The best spots when there is snow on the ground, are usually taken by the staff. Why doesn't the Dunkin Donuts sign near Nesconset Hwy light up? Aren't they looking to make money? The place is hidden in the back woods as it is. Huge mistake in not having a drive through. The plot of land is big enough to have configured the premises so that it could have one. For a Dunkin Donuts they close pretty early like 10 or 11PM- what's up with that? And when they are closed, all the lights are out- you'd never even know the place was there as you drive by! Its a shame that the marketing and design skills needed to make a Dunkin Donuts successful and customer friendly, were not utilized here. This place is just not up to expected Dunkin Donuts standards and doubt that they will be around for the long haul. Sylvester knows best! read more

I've always felt like reviewing chains is stupid, but I've NEVER had such a terrible experience at a Dunkin Donuts. I went in at 8:30 on a Sunday. They didn't have ANY bagels ready. Really?! So after I ordered I had to wait a few minutes for the bagels to finish before they could start preparing them. When my friend and I got our orders, we found that they'd put his bacon egg and cheese on the everything bagel I ordered, and the poppy seed bagel that was supposed to go with his sandwich had the cream cheese I'd ordered. No big deal, easy mistake to make and the guy took the order back. Now, rather than using the bagel cutter, the guy decided to press his hand on the bagels and use a knife to cut them, COMPLETELY flattening them. My bagel with cream cheese was all flattened, hard and barely toasted. Did I mention it took about 10 minutes for each time we ordered...and we were the only two people in the restaurant? Yeah, I'd recommend going to the Dunks next to Panera instead. read more

I decided to go in person and order to avoid any confusion with the order. I was still given a sandwhich with cheese. I had to scrape it all of leaving barely any sandwhich left. Waste of time. They don't have enough people staffed, rudely don't listen to you when you order, and then get your drink wrong while acting like it's your fault. Ordered a simple iced caramel macchiato after waiting in line for over twenty minutes (not even for me) and the dude wasn't even listening to me when I ordered. I repeated three times a macchiato, and then calls out "latte" while staring at me. I told him no, four times, and then he just dumped half out and put a shot on top while yelling in his native language. All Dunkin are not created equal obviously. This particular one takes the prize! They are not hygienic. The purpose of wearing gloves is so you don't contaminate the food. If you change the garbage with the same gloves as you touch money and then make the food...that's not exactly hygienic. when you tell the people who work here to change gloves they all of a sudden need the Google translator. The ONLY reason I come to this one is because it's the only local drive thru. But my god I wish I was exaggerating.... they mess up my very simple order AT LEAST 3x a week. For example.... this morning I ordered (like always) a large ICED caramel coffee with cream, Splenda and extra caramel. I get (almost) handed a hot coffee. Then I tell them no I ordered iced (I mean come on it's June.. cold coffee is where it's at). I get handed an iced coffee with no caramel. And it's WARM even with all of the ice in it. Guarantee he just dumped the hot coffee into this cup. Oh and I order the same thing every morning and sometimes it's 30 cents more or 30 cents less at the same location. Wtf? I have never felt the need to write a bad review for any place because I've literally never gotten into an argument with any business owner/employee, but the owner of this place (or at least I think he was the owner) is a complete douchebag and not very accommodating at all. I ask for a vanilla bean frozen coffee and he says that they only make coolatta's with vanilla bean. So then I say are you sure there isn't a vanilla flavored frozen coffee and he says yes they don't make those. So he gives me the coolatta and it was nothing like the drink I get from other dunkins. So I tell him this is not what I wanted and THEN he says that maybe I was talking about the french vanilla flavored frozen coffee. No fucking shit that's what I meant like you really couldn't have said that when I asked you if you were sure that there isn't a vanilla flavored frozen coffee?? Then he refuses to make the correct drink and argues with me for 10 minutes lying saying that he did say that they make that drink beforehand and that I said I didn't want it.
