Hubby & I stopped in for a dozen doughnuts this afternoon after a long-ish day of appointments/errands to the north. The young woman tending the counter came right over, and was very warm and friendly as she patiently filled our box with the doughnut flavors we asked for, mostly two at a time. Great, flawless transaction. The doughnuts are still fresh enough to taste good; we're not likely to be in there at the crack of dawn to get 'em while they're hot, so don't have much to compare them to. No complaints, though. I imagine that if we were to pop them into the microwave for a few seconds, they'd be pretty darned tasty. This store seems to have a better variety of than the one that's south of the Delaware Bridge (421 N. Broadway) so this will be our Dunkin' of choice when we "need" future doughnuts. On a side note, one thing that we've noticed about most stores with double doors around here is that they always keep one of them locked, and Dunkin' is no exception. We're curious about why stores would have double doors installed, only to turn one of them into a wall masquerading as an exit, which turns it into something between a minor annoyance (as you once again bounce off of the unyielding door) and a major safety hazard. While it's not much of a problem in a small doughnut shop with high customer turnover and nothing that could be considered a crowd, there have been incidents of people being crushed by others trying to get out of somewhere in a hurry. They crash into a locked door and get stuck there, inadvertently held in place by others trying to get out fast. New Jersey loves making laws about everything, whether or not it's something that really needs to be legislated; how it's missed this one, something that could actually matter, is a mystery. This isn't against this store; they're just following the state custom, but it might be worth reconsidering. read more

Visited the Dunkin at 696 S. Broadway, Pennsville today. Very disrespectful crew. Employee dancing instead of filling orders. We waited over 10 minutes with 6 additional cars behind me just for a cup of coffee. When reaching the drive thru window I was told with attitude that my coffee was not ready. Service has gone downhill in the past year. It was a nice place to frequent when the people who run the UPS store were there. Very pleasant nice, great service. Not now. We left without our coffee as well as others waiting in the drive thru. read more

I decided to give this Dunkin one more try and when I say I seriously won't be going back I will not . The new "manager" is like 17 the girl does not know what she's doing . She has a very bad attitude 9/10 I'm so sick of not being able to go somewhere and enjoy . Food is nasty. I ordered 6 hash browns and a Sausage egg and cheese on a croissant and the croissant was nasty. It was to hard as if it's been sitting for days . The attitude of all the workers suck . It's like they don't want to work and just want to f around all the time which is crazy. Young people these days .... I seen the "manager" dancing with another employee. My avocado toast was somehow soggy and my wife's iced coffee warm. Service is just teenage girls, no one cares about anything.

This is a 0 star review. It took them 30 minutes to make my avocado toast and it wasn't even toasted so I asked them to remake it and it took another 30 minutes to make it and it was still the same and I left. Also employees got an attitude for no reason. read more

The coffee has literally smelled and tasted like dish swill was added to it on my more than one occasion. The people who work the drive through have been unpleasant in my experience, to say the least. read more

Atrocious service. Suggest you pass right by this one, continue north on Broadway, and patronize the Dunkin by the BK and Taco Bell. Last thing a customer wants to face in the early a.m., when she hasn't even had her coffee yet, is a rude employee. A very hostile young male employee (w/out a mask on and w/ an ironic "GOOD" tattooed above his right wrist) first needlessly chastises me (on his mic) when I order in the drive-thru, even though I asked for *exactly* what the menu posted there stated. His tone was also noticeably impatient as he demanded, "SIZE?!" the moment the coffee order left my lips. My companion, E, and I wait to pay him at the window after we order and watch as he serves some dude from a box truck who'd walked up to his window w/out waiting in the drive-thru line. E and I are made to sit even longer as the employee continues to ignore us. ("So much for getting hot food," E says to me, eyeing the hijab-wearing chick--the second person to walk up, cut us in line, and yet be served immediately.) The employee then spills hot coffee on me as he carelessly (intentionally?) passes it from his window into my car's window. Because he didn't hold the cup level, it sloshed onto my hand and thigh. Startled and in pain, I ask him to please be more mindful when passing the second cup thru, because he just burned me. So this so-called customer service person--I'll just call him NG, for "not good"--continues to stare at me coldly and states it's my fault. I grumpily insist it was HE who needs to be more cautious with the customers, and he laughs in my face. Who needs the aggravation?! Never buying a darn thing at this Dunkin again. Every time I come to this Dunkin' at around 6am... I get the most cheerful greeting. There's a man and a woman who are quite literally the friendliest people I've ever come across in the food industry. I would never go out of my way to review Dunkin' unless it was beyond expectations (which this one is). Also, they consistently make an amazing iced coffee... which is rare at most dunkins. Dunkin owners PLEASE intervene. This was our third try of your new restaurant in Pennsville. The staff is miserable and they are verbally abusive to each other and are so loud about it. It is far from a cafe style coffee house you are trying to achieve here. At least play some coffee house music to drowned out the obnoxiously loud staff. The counter person is so disengaged with the customer he repeatedly asked the same guests for there order after he already took it. He won't even look you in the eye. Also out of several items. Really pathetic. So pick another DD. anything is better than these experiences. I hated to give it a single star. read more

Went to this location and asked for an iced latte with Carmel, very simple order you would think. No, they gave me milk and Carmel swirl! There was no coffee whatsoever in my beverage. My donut was tasty though but they need more icing pls. xx read more

Since this location opened, I have picked up coffee and a sandwich on the way to work here many times. It's been consistently good, with friendly service the vast majority of the time. My experiences have been exclusively with the drive-thru, so I can't speak to the in-store experience. read more

I really only stop at thia Dunkin on either a Saturday or a Sunday but the employees who work those mornings know my order.

When we placed our order, we had to repeat it several times, and still had to correct her once again. Just ordered two coffees and a bagel. The bagel was like shoe leather. We couldn't chew it, so we threw it away. The person we gave our order to seemed rather cranky as well. This gives this franchise a bad name. read more

I ordered a medium sized regular coffee and they gave me decaf. I asked for them to fix it and they stated that they would not. They kept saying no refills... I didn't drink it, I simply asked for the correct coffee. When I asked for a water, the cashier refused to give me a cup of water. I finally had to ask someone else. Still never got my coffee fixed. I went here the other day and the counter girl could't speak english very well. I had to ask what she said several times and because of this she shouted at me slowly like I was a moron. Not my fault your in a english speaking country and can;t speak the language. They were out of 2 of the donuts that I came here for. What ???? Aren't you a donut store? and your out of donuts?? How about time to make the donuts?? When I handed this same girl my card she rolled her eyes at me and pointed to card machine. WTF?? I've never been here before.The one up town takes your card. i love dunkin and for the most part have good experience. however the staff is not knowledgeable of the products. asked for a medium coolata got a small and wanted french vanilla and i don't know what flavor i got but not what i wanted. please educate your employees! read more
