Back again at Dunkin Donuts! I must say after my initial post,there has been a substantial improvement in the upkeep of this store. The counter tops,floors, have shown significant improvements. The service was already above average, but now the cleanliness has indeed improved nicely. Time for new crew. Management seems ok. I think the head manager may be too soft to be a boss. Nice guy. That's the issue. Trying to keep everyone happy is a failing strategy as a manager. Some bad attitudes on the crew. Typical at a DD. If you don't like people or your job, quit. It's a shame these young kid managers don't know how to mange people. Never, ever favor an unskilled, replaceable, disposable employee against a loyal repeat customer. They will be gone, and you will never recoup the lost business. I came in this A.M. with a coupon for a free latte and, while asking if the "Signature" lattes are part of the promotion (since no restrictions were printed on the coupon), Naveen, who was helping me said, "I don't know, but I'll be happy to make one for you!" How nice is that?? She asked me how I like it, made it exactly as I would have liked and mmm, on a cold, December day, it was perfect. This is my go to Dunkin Donuts in Oceanside. I typically only get coffee to go and maybe a donut once in awhile and I have never had an issue with service at this location. I'm a regular at this location and at least one employee knows me enough to make my coffee and have it ready for me without me even asking. Zero stars is what I'd really like to give DD. I've stopped here twice which is unfortunate because it's close to my job. The first time I got an iced coffee. No problem with the coffee. My problem is that the person who made it wrote "YOU'RE HOT" in sharpie on the side of my coffee. This was at 7am on the way to class. My professor noticed what was written so thank you for the embarrassment. I stopped here a few days ago with my bf. I ordered a ham, egg and cheese on an English muffin. The muffin clearly had MOLD all over the bottom. Luckily I noticed before I took a bite. My bf's hash browns were cold. I went in and gave the manager my sandwich. Been in here a few times and the staff is friendly, but the store is pretty much like any other Dunkin Donuts that you have been in and nothing that I have experienced here separates them from the other coffee spots in the area. WORST DUNKIN! Manager SCREAMS at his predominantly female staff!!! Shows no respect towards them. Which leads to EXTREME tension. Causes his employees to mess up orders because of all the pressure he puts on them. Then the manager assigns an elderly woman to make ALL of the sandwich's when its busy. Once she messed up my sandwich and screamed at me telling me it was my fault! I believe her name was Nadra. She is also very disrespectful to the young women that work there. All she does is scream!!! If any of the coworkers make even the slightest mistake she calls the manager on them so they will get screamed at and humiliated in front of the customers!!!!! I'm also dairy-free, and when I've come to this location in the past they've been out of Almond Milk. Today they had it, but now that I can actually order the drink it tastes so bad.
