So 7/14/21 I went to DD with my boyfriend like we do almost every day, for quite a while this location has had issues with their intercom so we're constantly asked to repeat our order, today though when asked to repeat our order my boyfriend was disgruntled because he feels targeted by this specific manager, as soon as he repeated his order she decided to also raise her voice at him with a rude tone, so he muttered some things to me as the car pulled away from the intercom, she heard what was said and took it personally, so while waiting for his coffee at the window he made a joke to the cashier about how they should get a new intercom with the extra money they get for charging more than any other local DD in this remote area. The manager then came to the window and preceded to claim "harassment" because she didn't like what she heard being said in our vehicle when it wasn't even directly aimed at her or any of their employees. Of course she got a bad reaction from him because her behavior was appalling, she told him that was his "warning" only to call the cops on us and have them show up at our door at 8am on a Wednesday morning to ban him from their location when she specifically told him that was a warning. Had she not been rude asf there never would of been another incident in which he would of needed another warning. I of course called corporate and reported all this to them. I then decided to update them once the cops were called, and after updating corporate I decided to call the store back and kindly let them know I made a report and why I made a report, and as I was trying to explain what happened and how what the "disgruntled employee" heard wasn't aimed at her she proceeded to cut me off to let me know it was in fact her who decided to open her mouth and be rude, I told her that I understood working with customer service can be hard but it was uncalled for and she proceeded to tell me nobody deserves to be called stupid when he never called her stupid in the first place, and she said he has to make a comment every time he goes there which also isn't true, he only gets a little upset when he's constantly asked to repeat himself because they have a faulty intercom and he's cracked a few jokes at the window about the intercom just to make short conversation while waiting for his coffee. I'm absolutely blown away that this woman is allowed to be a manager, and as I was trying to conduct this call in an orderly fashion she got rude and preceded to cut me off multiple times and then tell me to have a nice day and hang up on me while I'm still trying to have a conversation with her. I hope corporate fires her and resolves this issue because they've now lost not only his money but mine as well and I'll be encouraging the rest of my family and friends to stop going to this location as a result of what happened today, I'll be patiently waiting for the follow up call, as we have no other issues with any employees there.
