The sandwiches were served fresh and hot off the grill/panini press, were generously filled with cheese and tomato slices, and the sides of chips and pickle slices were the perfect way to round out our meals! Not only were the food and service great, the cafe was super cute and very clean! Their location is right next to the Columbus Amtrak Station, so if you happen to be there when a train goes past, the place to sit is right inside the front door at the little "bar" with the stools. We were too late for the morning trains and too early for the ~2:00 one...maybe next time. :-) The owners clearly take pride in their establishment and seem to really want to give back to the people and causes that matter most to them, as evidenced by the various photos of family and friends, and certificates of recognition, displayed throughout. They also offer plenty of seating, a large parking lot, and items for sale in small-ish quantities, like homemade honeys, teas, ornaments, wooden trains, jewelry, stickers, and coasters. My favorites were "Toes in the Sand" Sour, "Perky Blonde" coffee blonde, and "Garczynski's Best" pilsner. Dog friendly and board games/cards and chalk for the kids available. So I mean it when I say this is the best coffee shop I've ever been to. It quaint, and comfortable. I especially love getting a coffee and sitting by the fireside. The coffee is excellent and better than it should be. Plus you can just tell that this place has created an atmosphere and service that the community loves.
