As always we found pleasant service and nice atmosphere. It's always fun to pursue the books. The only thing I had an issue with was the price of the sandwich, which was a bit high at $16 for the relatively small size. Their location is right next to the Columbus Amtrak Station, so if you happen to be there when a train goes past, the place to sit is right inside the front door at the little "bar" with the stools. We were too late for the morning trains and too early for the ~2:00 one...maybe next time. :-) The owners clearly take pride in their establishment and seem to really want to give back to the people and causes that matter most to them, as evidenced by the various photos of family and friends, and certificates of recognition, displayed throughout. They also offer plenty of seating, a large parking lot, and items for sale in small-ish quantities, like homemade honeys, teas, ornaments, wooden trains, jewelry, stickers, and coasters. So I mean it when I say this is the best coffee shop I've ever been to. It quaint, and comfortable. I especially love getting a coffee and sitting by the fireside.
