We have been coming here since we moved to Virginia in 2013 and it was consistently one of the worst we had ever been to. Since their remodel a few months ago, that all changed. It is clean and inviting, with great customer service. I think ownership has changed about 10 times and I hope this one sticks. read more

Every Friday this location closes 15-20 minutes early. It's ridiculous, they'll lock the door and hide in the back until they clock out. Do not waste your time at this location - the Pantops location is MUCH better as an alternative! read more

Friday morning, 8am. Given yesterdays donuts bordering on turning hard. 8 donuts, 2 coffees for wrll over 20 dollars. How cheap of them.

Stopped by to try a matcha drink and ended up picking the small iced latte, though maybe I should have gotten the blended one. The service was slow but the guy was polite and friendly. The drink was fine but the cup was filled to the brim with ice so I finished it not even three miles down the road. I got a good few sips but that was about it. Buyer's remorse/anxiety struck hard. Even for a small I feel like I should have gotten a little more than that for 4 bucks. I'm definitely sticking to Starbucks. A small matcha latte is cheaper there anyway. read more

I have tried time and again to find something positive about this location but cannot. They are frequently without bagels and rarely have a full donut menu. The last two visits resulted in being unable to order at the drive through because they were only taking phone orders or they could only offer donuts and drinks because they were too busy. read more

They've really done a great job of improving this location. It's still not perfect, at times, but the service time and quality are better and most of the staff is way better than they were a couple of years ago. Friendly, smiling, ask how I am doing. I'm in there a few days a week and they have my order memorized and if they're not busy and see me pull in, they start my order on the register before I'm even in the door! read more

Since my last yelp review, the chocolate frosted donuts are MUCH better with the occasional rushed frosting job, but the frosting doesn't appear to be melting off! Sometimes it seems as though picking out a donut from a DD is a lot like dealing with the in-laws. You want the donut....but you've got to deal with all the baggage associated with that donut. And sometimes you want that particular donut you see plastered on the wall, but they don't have it and try to sell you something else instead...all at the last minute. It's like the great switch-a-roo...where you end up with the monster-in-law you thought you would never end up with. In our case at this particular establishment, that Boston Kreme turned out to be a slightly malformed Eclaire that the guy seemed to want to pass off to us b/c it had been sitting in the donut box a little too long (i.e., chocolate icing half globbed on and coming off like a huge dry chocolate scab). Our experience may have been biased since we were craving a Boston Kreme as the dessert to the end of a dinner 12.5 miles away. Needless to say, a quick drive through ended up being a who's who of sold out donuts. Okay, fair enough, I get that it's 30 minutes until closing and they can't have everything...but it would have been nice to have a bit of warning before doing the switch on us. If I had known, I prolly would have gotten something else. And...in further fairness, he did warn us that several of the other donuts were sold out as well....but in the end he found the elusive Apple N' Spice we had wanted in the first place. The 3 stars I'm giving are primarily b/c the guy did try to find the donuts we wanted, but he just seemed a bit frazzled and disorganized. Plus, it kind of turned me off to think that he said "Oh wait, I found an Apple N' Spice donut in the back". All I could conjure up in my mind with that thought was - "Why would a donut be in the back? Aren't they supposed to be in the front???!!!" Okay....maybe I'm just paranoid, but going through a disorganized drive-thru trying to "find" a donut just sounds a bit shady to me and had me envisioning a last minute dumpster dive to find that elusive "one". Plus, not having a say into whether or not we wanted the Eclair was a bit presumptuous. Nice person, but a bit whacky in my mind. And maybe that's the lesson here - much like those unforeseen monster-in-laws - it's an A-OK endeavor....but you just might want to check the baggage before you purchase a donut here. I'd recommend the walk inside as opposed to the drive-thru so you (hopefully) know what you're getting and from **where** you're getting it (i.e., front/back). Buying a donut unseen is a bit like getting the psycho mother-in-law rearing it's ugly head at you years after you're married - or in our case, a dry crusty Eclaire switched in as a substitute Boston Kreme and an Apple N' Spice from suspect origins. read more

First time I had ever been to a Dunkin Donuts was at this location. The place was clean and busy so that's a plus. The people working their were friendly and helpful for it being early in the morning. I also love that they have a drive thru so I dint have to drag the kids inside just to get two donuts and a coffee. I have yet to find a Starbucks in the area that has a drive thru and that disappoints me. The one thing I did not like is an employ was taking his smoke break right next to the drive thru window. Other then that I will keep going back! read more

This store always runs out of the most popular donuts, especially Bavarian cream. This evening, I called to see if they still had this kind. They answered yes, so I headed to the drive thru. I was told they had 10 Bavarian cream so I ordered 6 plus 6 other types and headed home. Unfortunately, when I got home, they were white cream donuts, not what I had requested by phone or in person. Iffy service, consistently dirty inside terrible coffee. My girl likes donuts and pastries for breakfast and once a week or so we stop in on the way to work. It was really great at first but has gone downhill considerably. Prices went up, portions went down and if you don't arrive in the morning it's almost always a bit on the stale side. A few months back there was a sticky spot in the same spot 3 weeks in a row, after which I refused to eat inside anymore. The upside is the donuts are decent when fresh and relatively cheap. Wouldn't recommend any of the hot food as it tastes like it was cooked in a microwave. read more

$10.36 for 6 donuts and a $1.99 iced coffee doesn't add up. You guys got frustrated when I asked about a chocolate glazed donut. A bag was handed to me with 3 additional donuts. The worker acted like they were doing me a favor and giving me a deal since the 2 of the 6 donuts in the box I asked for were wrong. If I knew you would have charged me, I would have gave the extra donuts back. I've been going to your dunkin since 2006, I'm not anymore. Maybe its a sign I need to eat healthier. This location is very clean and well kept. While the staff was friendly to me, I often waited longer than I felt I should have for a coffee and breakfast place that opens at 4am to complete my order. Some of the morning staff seemed visibly rushed when only a few people were in line. One morning, I asked for half the amount of sugar and I got the same amount of sugar and double the cream.
