He answered all our questions about what we could expect and was very polite. We had Daniel as our inspector and it was a very smooth, and enjoyable, process. This is my first time buying a home, so I had a lot of questions and concerns. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and professional! He walked us through any areas of concern, answered all my questions, and made sure we felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. He was very clean and respectful of the new house, made sure to wear shoe covers while inside, and was very detailed with his inspection. We received the full inspection report from them in less than 24 hours and it was very detailed, organized, and easy to read. The report had many pictures and recommendations that were clear and concise, which makes it a lot easier for us to know exactly what needs to be fixed, how to fix it, and when it should be done. They came and said they could not find the tank cap because of the snow and said they would come back and empty it in the Spring, but asked that we pay in advance, which we did ($163). In the Spring, they came back and still could not find the cap and therefore could not empty the system. They sent us a bill for $200, which my wife paid under threat. We subsequently called another service, which immediately found the cap and provided the service. Judge for yourself.

The faucet on my bathtub was broken and water wouldn't shut off. We contacted Jim's Plumbing. The…read moreplumber told us that we had to replace the on/off handles/spout because they were obsolete. He said the way to fix it was to knock a hole in the wall and replace the entire piping system to the tub. We refused and he left, saying that he would try to figure out what else he could do to fix it. My wife went to Lowe's and bought two new universal handles. We both installed the handles and they work great. Jim's Plumbing sent me a bill for $174 for nothing. It's pretty sad that a 78-year-old grandma could figure out how to fix it, and your plumber couldn't. Watch out for people who want to scam you into thinking you have to replace something for thousands of dollars, when it only cost you $13.
